Had a fantastic experience in Distriandina. We went on a Sunday night and it was in full swing. Great Salsa music and great Salsa dancing from the pros. Cheap drinks. Great place for night out with friends in Elephant & Castle if looking for Salsa and Latin music
This place has modern Latin American food with big portions and great service. Would recommend to lovers of Colombian culture or anyone willing to try something different
I had never come across a Colombian buffet until I stumbled across Distriandina! Beautiful decor and atmosphere, not like anywhere I have ever been before. Very friendly staff! and of course, very filling food! Overall, everything was great! Would definitely recommend if you're after something new, delicious and reasonably priced. If you go, make sure to try the fried plantain and chicken!
Very nice juicy steak and large too! I would recommend asking for it to be less done then you usually would as I asked for rare and it was more medium. That is down to the tendency for South Americans to eat their steak more well done I suspect. That said the sides were nice and I enjoyed my overall experience here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to go to experience Columbian culture, food and music in general so please don't be shy if you want to come, try this place out.
Pork escalope tasted good and the portion was large!! Extremely filling! 😁 Maybe just me but wasn't as fond of the pork escalopes pairing with rice...also the apple sauce seemed a bit out of place. The plantain was delicious!!
Staff are very friendly.
Only downside was that they were out of most desserts so our group went somewhere else for that.
Best colombian food I have tried abroad, definetely. Went there with my friends for dinner and we've been absolutely delighted by the quality of the food, very generous portions and the reasonable prices. I have had the best chicken croquetas of my entire life. After dinner time they convert the restaurant into a disco so you can dance on Latin music. I really look forward to go back there again and have their amazing food and shake my hips on the dance floor. 5 stars from me and I totally recommend it.
Delicious Bandeja Paisa same as the empanadas are really good !
I also had a fresh lemonade 🤩
If your idea of heaven is eating copious amounts of both carbohydrates and meat proteins then you’ve come to the right place. This place is not cheap!
Delicious food with large portions! Lively atmosphere especially with salsa dancing on Friday night. I had the Bandeja Paisa which I highly recommend.

I was here about 10 years ago with a large group of friends (we were like 20 people). And to this day I can remember how good the food was and also very memorable was the waiter, that took our orders from memory, he didn't have any notepad or anything, he just remembered everything in his own head. And everything turned out just as we had ordered it. Don't know if it has changed, but wouldn't surprise me. But atleast at that time it was a very lovely experience.
In general the food is great! Big portions, easy to surprise anyone! Is spacious and tend to have good atmosphere! Some dishes are priced and they could focus more in customer service, which need to improve to get 5* ;)
In here last night. A great atmosphere. Good dancing. The door staff were absolutely sound. I have to say that they were real gentlemen. I don't think I've ever came across such nice door staff anywhere before. Top marks!!
Great restaurant, run by great people!
Reasonable prices and great quality food. After reading through a few reviews i can't understand why anyone would mark the restaurant under a 4* experience. I ordered the steak and was not disappointed, it came at about 9 inches in length and 7 in width, and was at least an inch thick. Great seasoning, clearly the chef's are experienced and talented! I went with a group of 6 people and not one of us were disappointed. £17.95 for a steak that melts in the mouth, £3.50 for an authentic Colombian beer couldn't ask for more. Excellent!
Tables spaced out well and there is a one way system in place. Very very delicious food (we had chicken croquettes and pork belly to start followed by a sirloin steak and fish stew) and very reasonably priced. It has a fantastic vibe inside that whisks you away and out of London and into South America.

The place looks good, the atmosphere is great and the staff is quite nice. The food portions are quite large, but the seasoning was not that good. To start I ordered an aborrajado, it would have been better if it had had cuajada cheese and a large piece of it.
Don't know why this has got bad reviews. I go here quite often (every couple of months). On a regular day or night it's a pleasant family restaurant, certainly not expensive and with a great pint of Stella; on the weekend it's absolutely jumping from 10pm onwards.
Do Columbians have really high service standards? Is the developer planting bad reviews on a venue they want to demolish, hence the use of the same exact phrase in different reviews? "I was seriously unamused to find..." It's a mystery to me. nothing wrong with this place.
