I always like IKEA and choose it like the best place to buy everything you need for accommodation and even more: the restaurant is wonderful, I found lots of products in the food section as wonderful option to buy.
Happy to visit it again and again.
By the way, the delivery service is amazing, we choose some shelves, table and the chair and these items were delivered by friendly and helpful driver 🌻
It's just really nice to shop in Ikea. The items are very affordable and are really good in quality. It's like everythinf you need is here and actually even the ones you don't need😅
It's fun as well to just see different room models as you can get a lot of inspiration in how you do your home.
There is also a restaurant here which serves great food at a great price.
They have a sale section at the end too
Big carpark but even that is crowded on Sundays. If you go during the week it's almost empty. Big store with plenty of products, you'll find something for ypurself. Quality of the products is not the best but that's every ikea problem. Nice and helpfull staff work there. I enjoyed my visit
Had a fun day out at IKEA as usual. The food is very affordable and delicious. We got the classic meatballs, a cinnamon roll, Daim cake, and refillable sparkling juices. The layout of the store is fantastic and easy to navigate. We also got a lot of inspiration for redecorating out flat. Since it is spring, they also have quite a lot of live plants for good prices.
Love this ikea, it has everything you could possibly need for your home, from sofas to doormats, and has lots of great showrooms which ,personally, gave me some good inspiration. However, it is a very big building, and sometimes it is quite hard to find the exit, and the queues for checkout are usually very long. The staff seem nice, and there is a reasonably sized free carpark for this ikea, so there are always parking spaces.
As always it's very much laid out so you pretty much have to see everything - great if you're my wife, not so great if you are me and want to get in, get the item you already know you want from extensive online research (once seen with own eyes for quality and durability) and purchase then leave!
All in all, can't grumble though, having a wander through the whole place can remind you of other things you forgot you needed and also provides a bit of inspiration for the things you didn't know you wanted/needed!
Fair on price as always, you get what you pay for is what I usually find. And haven’t found the new items (office desk, raising to standing desk - manual) and some small kitchen items as well as a rug, to be anything other than good value for money but of course only time will tell.
Staff can be a bit hit and miss at this particular store (Charlton) and it’s not new enough anymore to use that as a teething problem excuse. I’ve found that from one member of staff to the next it’s very much hit and miss as to how much help you will get, how knowledgeable they are (appreciate this can vary depending on training) but more importantly; how friendly they are - this one doesn’t need much training, it’s common sense and practice in retail - and it doesn’t make customers feel very good about spending if you can’t even be bothered to crack a smile, interact or show any form of customer service/friendliness. So that element needs improvement on.
There was also a discrepancy as to price but could not get the help in store to rectify so decided to buy and give customer service a call to see if they could help, still haven’t got through yet so another review will be added (or this one amended) once that has happened.
All in all only the service (and the hit and miss nature of it) let’s this down to a 4 star. I hope this improves or I will revert to using the one at Lakeside.
Pretty big IKEA with almost everything on show and flat packs to buy. Has a huge car park too.
They have click and collect service from online, which saves you time from searching and getting all your stuff in person in the huge self service area.
The only con is that since it the only IKEA in that area is that it’s very busy in every place. I personally would not go there on a weekend to buy things as it would just take forever. Weekdays the best in my opinion.
Also if you do go on a busy time then expect busy traffic driving to IKEA and if you decide to eat there expect to wait around 25mins to get your food on a busy day!
A different IKEA store. Strong feeling of sustainibility as well as very inspirational solutions. So easy to reach by public transportation. Strongly recommended.
We only ordered on line and picked up at their dedicated pickup area, just to the right of the main entrance, off the parking lot. Quick and efficient!
I’ve only recently been to Ikea for the first time in my life and this Greenwich store did not disappoint. I’ve been a couple times since and I enjoy myself everytime. It’s fun to imagine what my future house could potentially look like. Easy to get to from North Greenwich station and other areas in London. I would recommend going during the week if possible to avoid it being very busy.
Great place to shop and eat. I couldn't believe they serve meatballs with jam, loved it. IKEA food is as spot on as their furniture. A very welcoming place with charging ports and power points for the would be computer goer on the go. All very inclusive as only the Swedes know how to be. I'm definitely going back just for the food, I loved it👌
Always nice to come to ikea with great car park, easy to access. Just able to know the no access lanes when first getting into the parking.. come here for the returns.
Got the queuing ticket and came my turn in 5 mins! Refund and credit to my ac on the next day! I like this refund service of ikea… hassle free when buying from ikea but sure not for heavy items! 😉
Granted I only went for food, but had such a lovely time looking around the show room getting inspiration. I ended up spending 20 quid on cute decor for summer 😆
I enjoy my visits to IKEA to admire the room settings, I love the bedding, kitchen stuff and plants they sell and frequently purchase items/ furniture for home from our local branch (Nottingham). We visited the Greenwich IKEA so our son could purchase a stand up/ sit down desk and other home office furniture. He also bought a sofa bed and living room units. He's very happy and awaits delivery of said items. I bought him bed sheets, bedside tables/rugs/ lighting,/wardrobe storage, glasses, placemats, food storage and 2angle lamps,
We were able to charge the car whilst shopping but the fast charging points weren't working . Bins were overflowing near the entrance. Bathroom was lovely and clean. Helpful staff though not enough on the shop floor in my opinion for such a busy store. Restaurant was very busy with quick service. Guy on the till had smile for everyone which stood out ( sorry I didn't get your name) other staff weren't so engaging.
A vast store which wasn't easy to get around for someone with mobility problems.
Shout out to the room styling team for the inspirational ideas.
Amazing experience in Greenwich with plenty plenty of collections. The place was so clean and good smell. The customer service was top notch and also the food they served was average but at the exact price. The furnitures are on offer. Must must visit. It is just outside the bus stop. Easy to travel no hassle at all. Found it good! Menu is £5.99 per plate.
Very large store with the regular set up. Plenty of free parking for up to five hours. Multiple bus routes servicing the store. Lots of kitchen and bedroom displays. The store is tidy and well organised. Very busy at weekends and leaving car park towards the end of the day will result in queuing. Normal dining area set up which gets very busy with long queues at the weekend.
Good day out and £800 spent😱😹 liked the showrooms and liked some of the unique ideas such as headboard made from curtains and pole and placemats as wall art. The BEST part about this Ikea is that there was sanitiser dispensers inside each toilet cubicle. As someone with contamination ocd public toilets are a struggle, however I just grabbed some toilet paper with some sanitiser spray and wiped down all of the surfaces and felt so much calmer, all of the hand sanitiser stations were also full, when half of places don’t even bother refilling them after covid so thank you. Fun little selfie spots as well
The store is so large it has its own bus station in Greenwich! A cafe and bistro at the checkout really refreshes weary shoppers. Goods range from duvet and cutlery to whole room furniture sets, and has something to suit every budget.
