A smashing pub on the north edge of Plumstead Common. The Old Mill hits all the right buttons. A good choice of keg beers along with a great array of cask ales on offer. Great service and a very relaxed atmosphere. A very friendly place to take a rest and slake your thirst.
Having gigged at the pub last night, we went back today on our first day iff in months to sample the roast dinners that had been mentioned to us. Oh my god... if you like a nice roast dinner - you need to visit The Old Mill. We went for the regular £10.50 beef option and only just managed to finish

Loved that the bartender explained to us all about the available ales and gave us a taste from all of them. So we can make an informed decision 😀 Would recommend this pub!

Was pleasantly surprised to discover this pub. Had a really delicious lunch. Sunday Roast portion was too big even though we ordered a small portion. The staff were polite and welcoming. The bartender provided information about the portion sizes upfront. Glad we ordered small portion.
