I have been waiting for a Xi'an restaurant in London for ten years and it is finally here. The staffs are very friendly and definitely very close to the original Xi'an cuisines. Price is reasonable and a lot more staffs actually speak good English. If you passing by Euston, should definitely give it a try! The pork murger is to die for!!!
As a keen fan of Xi'an food, Murger Han's flavour is really typical. I strongly recommend its glass noodles and flat noodles.
Everything is excellent here! Don't look back!
This place was a gem of a find and authentic Xi An cuisine.
Absolutely loved the cold noodles in the set for 2. Everything else was really good including the murger but it was the cold noodles for me that stole the show. For £33 for 2, we had more than our fill. Everything was delicately prepared and cooked. The cocktails, surprisingly, were excellent. Excellent because it's just not something you'd expect at a 2 for £12 price point. You also don't usually find good cocktails in hole in the wall Chinese places.
We can't rate the service to be 5 stars but they were polite, prompt and efficient even during the dinner rush.
This is definitely one of my favourite places in the whole world. I almost feel like I shouldn't do a good review as it's going to get harder to get a table if more people know about this restaurant. But the Biang Biang noodles is one of my favourite dishes, so much flavours that mixes into a beautiful symphony.
Tables are quite small. Service is okay, never had bad service but not excellent either. But the food speaks for itself.
Authentic Xian cuisine served in very very big bowls, but doesn't look like they have much, but still enough to get full. You can order how spicy you want for certain dishes... had the spiciness they had but not spicy enough for me.
They also have the murger or Rogamo, I recommend getting the original (pork), we also got the duck but it's tasted exactly like crispy aromatic duck, nothing special.
If you're still hungry, you can add £3 for unlimited BiangBiang noodles, which is just the noodles to add to your big bowl of leftover sauce/soup.
But their dishes were a little bit salty for us...
Lovely food with excellent choice of ingredients. We’ve been there twice for breakfast and dinner. We LOVED the breakfast, that was very authentic. It’s making you travel all the way to China!
The noodles for dinner were absolutely fantastic!
Would definitely come back for breakfast for our next visit to London.
The only small issue was the waiters’ attitude which was rude but I guess it’s part of the experience.
Went to this restaurant around 9pm in the evening and it was relatively quick service. Very good portion sizes for the noodles and I liked the combination of flavour of the tofu skewers. Only feedback was the noodles could be more chewy and it was slightly over cooked. The menu could be designed so that it’s easier to understand for the noodle section.
I come here for the cold noodles - always my go-to. Prices seem to have really shot up (understandable). Service is attentive, but during peak times, it seems rushed. You finish your food, the bill magically appears, and you are ushered out the door.
Insanely good food spot right next to Euston.
Always go for the biang biang noodles which are, well, b(i)anging 🤟😁 smoky chilli oil, spring onions & minced pork (can choose your meat) with the most moorish hand torn noodles. Also £3 supplement to get a noodle refill which I haven’t tried (yet) 😍 Murger King 👑
Delicious Asian food with a nice atmosphere. I have tried Beef Murger and Beef Noodle. Both of them were amazing.
biang biang noodles three in one with pork and beef were absolutely delicious and came in a hugeee bowl - amazing flavours and filling portion :) roast duck murger was tasty as well, service was great and the restaurant decor is great, would deffo return
A soothing breakfast after my piggy days and before more piggy days. A small but filling bowl of congee, nothing extra, simply beautiful. The murger is more traditional here. No fancy flaky puff pastry. Just a toasted hearty flatbread with a crusty shell and tasty marinated pork. The lean pork filling is still juicy, and the flavor is gentle. Not oily, not too overpowering for the early morning :)
The space is unexpectedly spacious and airy. Service is very friendly and speedy.
This will be my breakfast place if I travel via Euston. Also looking forward to try the daytime menu.
