A decent Chinese take away option in Chiswick. Food was quick for delivery and tasted good. Spare ribs were the highlight.
This is by far the best Chinese restaurant. I love Chinese food and nothing comes close to this place. It’s small and the service is amazing and food is out of this world amazing. Can’t recommend enough.

I like mushroom chow mein, ..at first glance it's a simple dish, but I've travelled far and wide hoping to experience it in it's perfect form and oddly it's been a rare event. Happily I can reliably report that May has the recipe and more importantly it's expert execution down to a fine tee!
Delicious cuisine, very delicate, light. Highly recommended the aubergine dish; the pork chop with salt and pepper and the dry fried French beans with minced pork. I look forward to seeing their restaurant open again for dinner inside.
Quite nice place to get a bit of Chinese food liked it quite a bit. Service was incredibly fast we probably waited less than 10 minutes for 4 dishes. However the staff were not very welcoming and it seemed like they would check on us but where in a rush to get us out gave us free fortune cookies. Wo
Amazing value. 5 of us went today and we had 6 dishes. Total bill came to £42 and every single dish was authentic and delicious. (We are Chinese). Service was warm, friendly and caring. A hidden gem.
Surprisingly good! It's nothing high end perhaps, but for a neighbourhood Chinese take away it is definitely punching above it's own weight. Mays Chinese Cuisine is a small Chinese restaurant. We often go there and order around half a crispy duck. The service is relatively quick and they are very fast at attending your needs like refilling hoisin sauce etc.
The decor is very plain - just a few stickers of fish, butterflies and flowers
I have been using May's for 20 years. Her food is superb. It has a completely different taste to most Chinese restaurants. I would recommend her restaurant to anyone who wants to try good authentic food.
We have been ordering from Mays for about a year now.
Everything always arrives hot and fresh and is much, much better than the usual British style Chinese food that one typically finds in London.
We particularly like the salt and pepper squid, crispy chilli beef and king prawn fried rice.
