This place is located just opposite to the Sherlock Holmes Museum. It is a small little cafe and the name suggests that it serves one of the best "Croque Monsiuer" in London. Its basically a French sandwich made from ham and cheese. I cannot give you more details since I don't eat pork but my friends told me that the taste was really good. So, we went into this cafe after paying a visit to Mr. Sherlock Holmes :) And I have always been a great fan of him so much so that I ordered for Sherlock Holmes in the cafe ! Yes you have heard it right ! It is a chicken escallope with cheese and salad in a large bap. And he tasted yummy ! I mean the dish was delicious ! The cheese was slightly melted and felt very good. The interiors aren't that great but the place was buzzing with people. Although I wish they would keep the door closed as the cold breeze was freezing us ! But the food was good and cheap. All in all, a nice and warm place for a light bite and perhaps a date with The Sherlock Holmes himself :D
P.S. Attaching Sherlock Holmes with this review ! Happy Eating :)
Popped in to kill time before going to the Sherlock Holmes Museum. Lovely coffee, food and service :)
