We had a great afternoon at the Alwyne Castle to celebrate a friend's birthday. Lovely spacious pub with some nice seating outside as well, and lots of food and drinks options and reasonable prices! Would recommend for sure!
A great pub. If the weather is fine, there appears to be seating for approx 1.2 million people. Inside looks pretty good too. Lots of room for drinking or eating. Good range of beers with doombar and landlord on cask. A most fine establishment.
Was at the Alwyne for an engagement party on 20th May. Service was brilliant, never had to wait for a drink even though the huge garden was pumping. Best beer garden in London and the staff were lovely!

Rachel and Kerry were very helpful and polite, made the afternoon delightful, unfortunately the other female server with a space in front teeth(not shaming, just can't remember her name was very rude and made our party feel like we were an inconvenience rather than patrons, she didn't smile at all a

To the chefs in the kitchen the food was delicious, compliments to saffron who went the extra mile. Great team! Will be back again :)
The atmosphere was good, quite busy. The food looked nice but the usual pub style in taste. Service at the tills was slow. Men's toilets need another cubicle. Nice outside area. Would visit again.
Lovely pub, great vibe, friendly staff, especially the girl with French accent, Rachel (if remembering correctly), quick, friendly, experienced, and still smiling while super busy.
I wish all staff in pubs, bars around London were like that. Certainly one to keep!! Thanks, will come back again.

Super nice pub with delicious vegetarian food. We had the miso aubergine and it was delicious. There is plenty of space and it's child friendly. The beer selection could be better, but overall I totally recommend the pub
Arrived at 12pm sharp. The staff seemed very disinterested to serve my friend and me. We had one pint and spent our money elsewhere. The pub looks lovely from the outside.
Top bar. Great food (halloumi fries amazing). Fantastic atmosphere outside on the terrace before Arctic Monkeys gig. Quick service. What more do you want?
Went to the Alwyne for Sunday roast. Allot of Arsenal fans in but everyone was good as gold and the food was great. Aoife served us and was a delight. Will go again
