We travelled from TW15 to meet friends and have dinner at the Duke of Richmond. Definitely worth the long train journey! Friendly knowledgeable staff with an excellent menu to choose from. Overall a great night with excellent wine and delicious food served in a friendly easy going manner. Also delighted to see that well behaved four legged friends are welcome!

My favourite place to eat in London, and I'm lucky enough to live around the corner. Everything on the menu is a hit (though I'm partial to the chicken burger - pictured). The service and atmosphere are always fantastic. Top notch all around. Highly recommended if you're into elevated pub food in an excellent atmosphere.

Booked out the blue pleased we did I had the steak. Possibly one of the best I have ever eaten fabulous. The crab chip butty needed a bit more crab but I am being picky and wine was half price. Good meal and a very good deal, well done the chef.

Had a nice dining experience. The food was good and received a friendly and professional service. The food items were a bit pricey though, higher then other pubs which do same Sunday roast.

Friendly atmosphere and staff, lovely decor. Only ordered from the drinks menu, but very much enjoyed their excellent Roadie IPA.

We are very lucky to have this place on our doorstep. The food is always fantastic and I love their roasts and burgers (especially on Mondays when it's burger and beer for £15). I have a sweet tooth too and their desserts are always top notch.

We went for the half price Friday lunch and really enjoyed it. I had the spinach and ricotta malfatti (small) portion, while he had a Barnsley lamb chop and aubergine with zaatar. Both excellent. The beefheart tomato salad was good but uninspired, the chips were a small but tasty portion. Our desserts were a delicious Snickers ice cream and a disappointing Tarte tatin. The total was £34. We were pleasantly surprised by lovely food and the pub lost some points because the atmosphere was bland and decor shabby. Service was very good. We booked again, this time for Sunday roast.

Stopped here for a quiet beer during a long walk on spring bank holiday. Hadn't heard about it before, but had a good time. It seems reasonably recently renovated inside, has a fresh look to it. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, nice seating outside. Great spot on a sunny day.

A truly excellent Sunday roast. Great selection and every dish was immaculately presented with great flavor. The vegan option of cauliflower was great. Prices are on the higher end for a pub roast but well worth it for the quality.

What a gorgeous little pub with an lovely inviting vibe. The owner is so easy to talk to and made me feel at ease the moment I turned up there. The food is delicious I'm not one for salads but i saw someone else get one so I ordered the same and wasn't disappointed. I liked the place so much I'm looking to host some events there. It is a short walk from Darlston station.

The beef Sunday Roast was spectacular, one of the best I have eaten recently. The Margarita Picante is just great. It is not to spicy, but it gives a great twist to a great classic.

Have just popped 'Duke of Richmond' into google to make another reservation and found myself in the review section. Really quite surprised by some of the reviews I've read. Me and my partner have been eating at the DOR for the last 4 years, we absolutely love it. We dine out maybe 3/4 times a week, trying new and different restaurants and we always end up comparing our experiences to the DOR. You just cant beat it. For all the times we have visited we have never had a bad meal or even an OK one. The food is always cooked to perfection, the menu is seasonal and never boring and the staff are always so attentive. The star of the show for us is definitely Sunday's menu. Undoubtedly, the best roast in London. Yes, its not the cheapest but wouldn't you prefer to pay slightly more for better quality? I know we would. Anyway, visit the DOR drink some of their incredible cocktails and order one of their roasts, you wont be disappointed :)

Came here for a private hire birthday and had an excellent evening. Attention to detail was great, canapés all tasty and appealing. All three courses were delicious and served without fuss and at a nice pace. The evening slipped by and was great fun!

Truly everything you need for a tasty and traditional English roast. Glorious afternoon, flowing wine and delicious food. Only downfall is the overuse of truffle in the cauliflower.
