Our first time trying food from mint leaf, they were very friendly when ordering by phone and on collection. I had the mixed grill which was great value. My partner had the makhani which she found very tasty. Overall, great value and we're happy it's our local Indian. Will visit again.
I don't usually post reviews, but in the case of Mint Leaf I will make an exception. This the best Indian food I've ever tasted. The delicious food is freshly prepared in an open kitchen and never disappoints. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. In the past I have asked them to make a curry 'not too hot' and they did as I asked without compromising flavour. I always phone in my order for collection and my food is always piping hot and ready for collection on arrival. A+ Mint Leaf!
I've been using the Mint Leaf for nearly 20 years, simply because it's the best tasting Indian restaurant I've ever been to. A small takeaway, there isn't really room to dine in but that's no problem. The staff are lovely and always friendly. They like to give a few freebies on large orders. I give them top marks and I highly recommend them.
Always buy from this take away. The food is delicious!!! If you go in person to collect you can watch the chefs cooking while you wait. Delivery can be slow so I always order early enough, but it’s always worth the wait!
This is the best curry house in town. I live on the Roundway and am so lucky to live so close to this wonderful curry shop. It’s take away only. The people are always polite and friendly. I have been going here for over 17 years and never once have I felt dissatisfied. When I eventually move home, I will have to not move too far from my curry house.
Amazing place for some curry takeaway. The orders are prepared quickly and they don't lack the amazing taste you'd expect form a regular curry place. It's a bit far off my route but I'd definitely get there when I want something delicious.
Every time I go hear I am amazed. The food is just so flavoursome. I’ve tried high class asian restaurants and paid triple the price for much worse food.
Good and flavoursome curry for what is the typical price, however they do charge for poppadoms which can come free with other takeaways. The lamb tikka is probably the nicest around, and the Vindaloo and Naga probably some of the fieriest... even the Madras is potent. Portions are of typical size, curries coming in 500 ml. containers. They will deliver through Just Eat or directly over the phone, but are choosy where, even if you are very close, I therefore only buy from here if I'm passing. There is some parking just outside on the slip road from the main Roundway. Next door is a licenced 'continental' mini-market where you can top up on other stuff while you wait.
It may take a long time (if you opt for delivery) but Mint Leaf makes some damn good Indian takeaway for very reasonable prices. Don't be discouraged by the unremarkable outside.
Food is very good, portions have been really big recently,which is great and keeps me coming back for more! Definitely the best indian takeaway for miles! And I've tried a few tbh!
Authentic spices and smashing lamb chops! Waiting time slightly long but food on point. Friendly staff. Worth visiting.
