Loved the place and the food. Decent prices and good atmosphere & vibes. I went with the Lamb Tagine which was delicious. Seems like a popular choice as the table at the side of me and behind me had ordered the same. The mango lassi was less authentic and more foreign for my Indian tastebuds. But wasn't bad overall. The Enchilada chicken ting was good as well and is quite filling.
Really can’t find a fault with the place! The portions were huge and tasty. The staff were friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was lively and colourful. They do 2-4-1 cocktails on Sun-Thur between 5-7pm and we also got to use our Taste Card which was great! Overall great night out with Freddy Yu

Salmon bagel was also good, soft bagel, smoked salmon and perfect creamy scrambled eggs

One of a number of recommended eateries in the Southbank Centre. Buzzing atmosphere combined with good food and satisfactory service. Menu offers a wide variety of dishes and an interesting selection of cocktails.
Awesome location for this restaurant. Popped in my last night in London to a bustling restaurant. Was seated relatively quickly and pondered the delicious menu. Ordered the katsu buns, homemade fries, enchilada, lamb tagine and couple of cocktails. The tagine was spectacular. Each bite was delicious! My party reported the enchilada was also tasty. The katsu buns whilst presented well, tasted a little plain. It need some sort of sauce. The service whilst friendly, proved the most difficult thing of the night, trying to get the attention from the waiter. This brough my score for Giraffe down a tad.

I liked the service, the food, the friendliness and speed of service.
The full brunch is very good and the BBQ chicken and smoked cheddar quesadilla is also very good.
My friends and I went here for lunch a couple months back. Giraffe is located in the Southbank across the pier, so it was a perfect waiting spot for River Thames Boat Tour. We came on a sunny day and after a short wait, we got a table outside and were able to soak in some sunlight (and good view). It offers world cuisines; we tried Malaysian and Mexican food, both tasted great. Not authentic-great, but close. The waitress was friendly as well. Overall, no complaints.

We came here one night for coffee and dessert. Lovely location by the river, very friendly staff and beautiful food. The caramelised banana waffle is my absolute favourite! I've also tried the berry crumble which was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was nice but very sour -so if you have a major sweet tooth don't go for this. The hot beverages, coffee and hot chocolate were also very enjoyable. This restaurant is fun and casual
Dropped by here for dinner last night after walking past on the Southbank for years. Very busy, but we were lucky enough to get a table by the window with a river view immediately without a booking - the river being a main attraction. I wasn't bowled over by the menu, but a good place if you want burgers or tex mex. I had the Thai duck stir fry which was reasonably tasty and I would order it again. My friend had the classic burger - also perfectly fine but nothing spectacular. The Chenin blanc wine was a good drop, but no choice on small or large glass. I didn't enjoy my Berry Bellini much - too sugary and in wrong shaped glass. Chocolate tart with ice cream and cherry compote for dessert also okay, but again not particularly memorable. Service great . Our drinks arrived quickly and I've never had a main course arrive so fast. Would definitely go again if passing and looking for a bite too eat, but probably wouldn't make a special trip to go.

We had the mini mezze (small plate), veg falafel burger, an orange juice and a sparkling water. For 21 bucks.
Veg burger was a little dry but the falafels were not bad.
My hunt for the perfect falafel is still on. The one at St. James Park food truck ranks right up there.
3.5 is more for the quick and friendly service, music than the food.

We found Giraffe in a dire near to find somewhere to eat last minute. We saw the 2-for-1 cocktails and it just sold us. The cocktails were delicious and made really fast. The food was flavoursome - especially the burgers. They also served my favourite sweet potato fries and were really crisp - so I was happy. The service was good and I would definitely go again!
With views of the Thames and lots of art centres around, South Bank is one of my favourite areas in London - great place to have a walk around followed by a pleasant meal with friends. Because it's in such a great location this Giraffe restaurant is always very busy, so expecting quick service is sometimes a tall order, though the staff are still very friendly.
They do a pretty good mojito here, with discount prices if you come early on - I like the mango daiquiri as it tastes like it's made from real fruit. Also recommended are the tasty sweet potato fries and the quesadillas are also worth a try.
This was the very first Giraffe i went to, and it continues to be my favourite,not just because of its location but i found the staff funny and welcoming. The restaurant is rather big and its modern and contemporary.
The food was fantastic, probably the best Giraffe i've been too in regards to the food, both portions and quality.
There's a bar and a small dancing area which makes the restaurant suitable for a night out with friends food & drink, what more could you want! ;)
I would start by saying that South Bank is one of my favourite areas in London, especially during Summer or Christmas.
Went to the Giraffe on a summer day. I was attracted by the orange ballons they put outside and those cute outside tables. The menu look pretty various so I gave it a try.
And I actually enjoyed the food. I tried the brunch and then had ribs with chips. Everything was delicious. The idea of an international menu is intresting, especially for lunatic person as me. Service was good. They also gave me one of the ballons I saw at the entrance.
I would reccomend to stop by.
Same food and drink as other Eat cafes, it's handy having it on the southbank as most other places around there are bars or restaurants. It's fairly big and can accommodate alot of people but it can get busy. Always seems to be kept tidy. I like the coffee beans they use.
Great quick food when walking around London. We did not want to sit at a place too long and the variety and options they had were great. Plenty of gluten free options, with everything nicely labeled. Clean and quick service. Wish we had places like this in the United States!
This is a good place to visit for a quick bite and tea and/or coffee while walking along on the South side of the river. The food is yummy and healthy and decently priced; there are also good options if you are vegetarian or have specialised dietary requirements. It can get pretty crowded in this location, though, both with tourists and workers in the area when it's around lunchtime, so seating can be a precious commodity.
Always our go-to place in London when we’re planning on leaving the city. Great take-away meals for a good price! The staff is always very friendly, the place is always quite busy but the staff always seems to remain calm and work hard to keep the costumer happy.

Eat is a good place to get a decent bit of grub in you for £5. This outlet has a prime plot on the southbank. Staff at Eat are generally good irrespective of the branch. Good food and views.
Great choose if you are looking for a quick snack and coffee at reasonable prices.
There is a great selection of sandwiches and desserts.
Coffee is quite good at service is actually quite fast.
There is the option of take away.
Really like Eat. The food is healthy and fresh. We love trying the different soups and bowls. They also have premade salads and sandwiches, various drinks, and coffee.
The right place for the right fast food, huge quantities of sandwiches, hot pot and panini, quite place out of the lunch hour. Traditional and untraditional breakfast. Great quality for great prices.
