What a fantastic bar! Few you find like this with great customer service. You could walk in by yourself and know you could sit at the bar and chat to a local no problem. The management is top tier. You can tell the difference when someone cares about your experience or are just in it for themselves. This lot definitely pride themselves on making anyone from anywhere feel welcome!

Newly refurbished, and very reasonably priced food and drink. Haven't tried the food yet, but the menu looks good. Shame Mary's Steak n' ale pie isn't there anymore. 😋 Good to see a decent boozer surviving in the high street!

Great ambience - Super friendly staff. Food really great! Some (most?) is homemade and you can tell! Lincolnshire sausages with truly great flavor and Steak & Ale pie would be "must haves" along with the Sticky Toffee pudding! RECOMMENDED

The Cobden, a simple plain high street pub with no pretentions. Lovely cold beer and some DoomBar for the real ale addicts. The lady staff person is delightful. Fast efficient and welcoming. A short simple menu to sample. All good!

A gem of a place to have a high quality Sunday dinner with a great atmosphere and service. The staff are 100% 24 carrot super stars. Amazing Pub.

The Cobden is decent. The food is nice and the drinks are too. The staff isn't very involved, which is okay. There are often football/rugby matches on the TV which gives it a pub atmosphere but it lacks the "social mixing" element you see in real Irish pubs. It's London, so not really anyone's fault. Taking one star off because the tables are often quite sticky and toilets not always clean.

Food was nice, good quality price. The revamp of the pub is good, new decor, new carpet and furniture, nice staff.. more screens to watch sports.

LOVED the Sunday Roast! Tasty meat, big plate, big gravy saucer and pretty cheap. It's a shame british food is mostly known for fish and chips when there's some other amazing stuff like sunday roasts.

The food was great, didn't take too long to arrive and tasted great without breaking the bank. It was very quiet for a Saturday lunchtime, which had its pros and cons in terms of the atmosphere in the pub.

I came here last night for a quick drink before dinner, the service was lovely and hands down, the best Guinness I have had in London!! Perfect pint, will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again. Thank you!

Nice Irish bar with a Vietnamese kitchen. Best of both worlds. Even better with live music and Irish dance! Beat that!
