For me, easily the best coffee shop around the Chancery Lane area. I treat myself to a coffee from the WatchHouse once a week and order via the app for click and collect. The coffee is so good and I think reasonably priced. Service has always been really friendly too. The coffee shop itself is small with some seating spaces, but from what I see most people tend to get a take out. I have also had had the almond croissant a few times and it is absolutely divine!

Brilliant coffee and amazing staff & service all with a modern twist and setting. What more could you want! This is my favourite and daily coffee shop. The staff are brilliant, always friendly and so polite! The coffee they make is top quality, milk frothed perfectly, espresso shots pulled expertly, and service is faultless. Whilst I normally order on the app and take out, on the few times I stay, the drinks brought to the table are always so well presented. I have gone to so many different coffee shops in London and whilst some of them have coffee as good (gentlemen baristas, prufrock, climpsons etc), WatchHouse has the whole package.

Stop the presses, folks! I've found the holy grail of coffee shops, and it's called WatchHouse. This place has a serious caffeine addiction, and they know how to make a cup of joe that'll knock your socks off. As soon as I took my first sip of their coffee, I was transported to a magical land where rainbows tasted like espresso and unicorns frolicked through fields of coffee beans. Seriously, this stuff is like liquid gold in a cup. The atmosphere in the coffee shop is super chill and laid back, with a mix of hipsters and suits getting their caffeine fix. It's like the perfect mashup of Brooklyn and the City of London, with a dash of Hogwarts thrown in for good measure. And don't even get me started on the pastries. These guys are like the pastry wizards of the coffee world. I tried their croissants and felt like I was back in Paris, strolling through the streets with a flaky, buttery delight in my hand. So, if you're a coffee lover like me, then do yourself a favor and head to WatchHouse. You won't be disappointed. Just be prepared to never want to leave this magical caffeine wonderland

My top pick for coffee in the area, even if it may be a bit pricier compared to others. Nice presentation as well (see photo). My main comment is that seating is quite limited so you may not have a choice but to do takeaway sometimes.

Delicious food, friendly service, excellent coffee and always good music playing. Iā€™m back in London visiting for a fews days and itā€™s great to stop by Watch house again. My usual local was Bermondsey St but met with friends for lunch at Fetter Lane & was not disappointed. Consistently great across all locations. Well done Watchhouse 5 stars āļø

Really nice coffee shop. The coffee is absolutely top end. The flat white has lots of volume and is tasty. The service is quick and it has a nice ambience but can get noisy when busy but itā€™s a great place to be.

Streamlined interior thatā€™s understated and, uh.. unfussy but with very limited seating capacity; purposed and incentivised for take-out. Usual limited ā€œlite-biteā€ + pastry configuration but here theyā€™ve up the ante with modest inventive twists and token veg options. The regular coffee here is flavoursome, aromatic and better than most, even better than better, but not best. And not cheap. Staff be friendly, composed and savvy to the machinations of coffee brewing. Impressive outfit.

Great coffee, just bear in mind that it gets busy (and very loud) on weekdays - probably better to get for takeaway

Some of the best coffee Iā€™ve had in London! Up there with Monmouth and Arabica. A really nice place to study as well though there are no sockets

Beautiful cafe especially when youā€™re in the mood to sit down and enjoy a cup properly. They give you a card with detail of the bean so that youā€™re more aware of what you drink. Delicious pastries for a quick breakfast and lunch.

Repeating the successful formula from the other two The Watch Houses, but adding something extra as always. Yet to visit in the day, but the small plates along with beers and cocktails in the evening were brilliant (we're still talking about the cheese fritters). This Watch House has an intimate and romantic feel about it - something lacking in other venues in the area. Recommended for date nights after work, bar top cocktails in this cosy setting. Planning lunch time there as I write!

I don't come here as much as I'd like, as I no longer work nearby, but I always cherish a chance to come here for a coffee. The coffee is great, the food is really nice (my favourites are the ham hock and cheese sandwich and the mini salted caramel chocolate tart) and the staff here are so lovely and friendly. Much better atmosphere and service than any of the other watchhouse branches.
