First time here and first time trying Sunday roast and I absolutely loved loved the food . It didn’t disappoint not one bit . The pudding dessert was a 10/10. Very lovely, family and dog friendly pub .

Was staying in Kensal Rise for a couple weeks and ate here twice. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Sticky chicken thighs were awesome.

I had Sunday lunch with my family. We received a wonderful welcome from the team. All of the staff were attentive and were always checking if we were OK. The food was fantastic. We had a selection of the starters, roasts and other mains on offer. Each one was superb and there were clean plates all round.

Great Friendly Pub. Great Buzz. Can get very busy understandably. Was hankering for a Sunday Roast unfortunately they ran out of Roast Beef at 3pm which was a shame as the Roast Chicken was not all that great. Staff and service were great though. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

We came here with a group of 12 adults and 6 babies which I thought would be a challenge but the staff were just incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful. Brilliant service, thank you so much!

Amazing place to have fun with your family. Extremely child and dog friendly. We took some friends and they loved it. The food choice is just right and fairly priced. Children food was tasty and the children enjoyed every mouthful of the pasta. I would highly recommend “the Island” for the environment and the food.

I’ve lived in this area for years and didn’t know this place was here. Booked as my Mother wanted a Sunday roast and we weren’t disappointed. Food was good, though a limited choice, service was excellent and is Dog friendly. Will definitely come again.

It was lovely, as always although a bit noisy upstairs this time as there was a large group of people and children there. I struggled to hear my friend, but then it’s like that everywhere where there is a large group of people talking very loudly all at the same time. Maybe improving the acoustics would help, worth checking. They did that in the canteen where I work and it’s been a lot better.

Beautiful decor, families and dogs all welcome. They added on a service charge and rounded it up to £14.50 which I hate as I would have preferred to leave a tip that I can decide on myself as money is very tight these days and I think £5 or £6 pounds is enough on top of the bill.

Friendly staff, clean and welcoming place, pet friendly. Food is served in very good portions, with care for presentation and great flavours. Can’t get over how good their burger was!! Highly recommended!

The Island is one of those neighborhood watering holes that you might otherwise overlook if driving by, but if you’re looking for a quiet, cozy, welcoming atmosphere, this is as good of a “local” as it gets. Rustic in its interior, the spot offers a tiny glimpse into non-touristy London as it offers a good selection of better-than-decent beers in bottle, draft and cask and jovial, warm staff and patronage. The food is better than average as well, which says a lot for those that market themselves as a “gastropub.”
