Nom nom nom!!!!
I am honestly not sure if you need to more than that?
Nice little addition to this little alley off new bond street. It's a smart venue, very relaxed and comfortable. The beer and wine selection is good.
We had the Truffle and Mushroom pizza and a super food salad to share between two. Both were really delicious. The pizza was lovely and creamy with a helping of different cheeses, Mushroom and Truffle. The salad was very filling with lots of lovely vegetables from butternut squash to cauliflower to Brocolli and with the most delicious dressing and pomegranates to garnish. I am sure some would say it is pricey for a pizza but we really enjoyed ourselves and it was a nice little treat at the end of long day in the crowds of Oxford Street :)
Tucked away in the very cute Lancashire Court, this place serves up a good pizza in a cozy atmosphere. Prices are super decent for Mayfair and service is friendly.
The pizza selection is short but is complemented by a range of other options i.e. mains, pastas, starters and salads. I recommend the sweet "gnocchi" for dessert, which are little parcels of fried dough filled with dulce de leche and Nutella.
Pizza was very good. I did try the basil gnocchi which was great. A fantastic selection of Tuscan red wines. They should serve pizza at the bar down status and outside.
I've been here a few times and the food is good and at great prices for Mayfair. Located in a beautiful ally which is a romantic setting. The pastas are my favourite and the house wines are decent.
For as many years as I can remember, the Mayfair area has always been known for its food. Mainly because of its abundance of fine dining restaurants, Michelin starred bonanza and Italian trattorias which have been going since the 80’s and are still flourishing despite stiff competition. Now however, everyone seems to be opening up in this part of town and it’s no longer just high-end establishments – it’s become incredibly diverse. From lobster rolls, to Indian street food and in this case – a competitively priced (and delicious) pizza restaurant.
The Mayfair Pizza Co. is situated in the gorgeous Lancashire Court. Mayfair is full of so many tiny alleys, back streets and mews that I’m always getting lost in this part of town. Lancashire Court has absolutely no footfall, terrace action galore and I’ve no doubt during the summer months – a perfect place for sipping on a glass (bottle) of wine or two. Upstairs above this terrace is The Mayfair Pizza Co. At first glance this pizza restaurant has the worst name going for it, if I’m honest, sounding something more similar to a takeaway off Just Eat. It’s just that “Co.” bit at the end I don’t like. Inside, huge windows let the light flood in and the smell of truffle and fresh basil left us salivating before we even sat down. The classic creamy and sour burrata here was served alongside delicate fennel and slices of juicy beetroot – it didn’t disappoint. Less successful, but by no means terrible was the salt and pepper squid with saffron aioli. The squid was cooked well, the batter good – but for something described as containing salt and pepper, well I couldn’t detect a huge amount of either. The aioli needed more saffron intensity too.
As the name suggests for this Mayfair restaurant, pizza’s are really where things start to get serious. The salsiccia friarielli pizza was a mix of Neapolitan sausage, mozzarella, friarielli, chilli and parmesan. The base of the pizzas here were particularly the highlight. They’re light, full of flavour and perfectly crisp from middle to crust. The Neapolitan sausage was good too, intense and full of flavour, while the friarielli gave the pizza a nice juiciness. I couldn’t detect much chilli however. The star pizza here was the Mayfair Pizza Co. – topped with truffle cream, porcini mushrooms and lashing of shaved truffle. It’s honestly been a long while since I put a pizza in my mouth and got excited. I’ve had truffle on a pizza yes, but here they managed to get the balance perfect and created a refined, decadent and delicious pizza which is without a doubt one of the finest you’ll find in this area. Priced at £14 isn’t crazy either, especially for Mayfair. For those of you who are a little more brave than I, why not give the Hottest Pizza a go. It’s made using the hot sauce from the incredibly talented The Rib Man and I’ve heard it will make you weep. All I say to you who try it, is good luck – you’ll need it.
By this point during the meal we’d consumed far too much wine and so much food we we’re on breaking point. Yet we still had room for dessert – of course. Our lovely waitress insisted we go for the Nutella calzone with marshmallow – and she wasn’t wrong. Devilishly chocolatey, indulgent and probably containing a few thousand calories, at least. When it says ideal for sharing on the menu, please believe it – because one person could not get through it alone. More bread after all that pizza isn’t ideal, but with that amount of chocolate involved here and mouthfuls of gooey pillow light marshmallow – well it meant anything was allowed and I had no plans of eating by the rules.
We finished up our meal here at The Mayfair Pizza co. with a couple of expertly crafted espresso Martinis and stumbled our way in to the night (actually just downstairs to Mews of Mayfair for a little night-cap). When I’d first about The Mayfair Pizza co., I admittedly hadn’t expected anything like this. I’d come here expecting overpriced pizza, stuffy service and a fine dining atmosphere. Instead we were faced with a simple restaurant, perfect service and some of the best pizzas Mayfair has to offer – and all very competitively priced. Would I return to The Mayfair Pizza Co.? Of course – it’s only just a matter of how long before I start craving that truffle pizza all over again.
Mayfair Pizza Co is the ideal place to go to escape the busy shopping streets of Central London. Nestled in Lancashire Court just up from Hush restaurant , Mayfair Pizza Co is as you may have guessed from the name, an Italian restaurant serving up not only their signature pizzas but numerous Italian dishes such as meatballs and chicken & prosciutto milanese. Inside the restaurant it’s lovely and bright, with the ceiling window letting in lots of light.
...we meandered through the mews of Mayfair and ended up at the Mayfair Pizza Company – names Rocket in a previous life. Although I’ve booked many a lunch at Rocket for colleagues, I myself have never eaten there. As we arrived at the door, we made our way up the spiral staircase to a beautifully atmospheric room with high ceilings, possibly wooden floors (I want them to be wooden but truth be told, I have no idea if they were), a heap of wine along one wall and a moving ladder. To say the I wasn’t in love would be a complete and utter lie. We were quickly seated at the table with the best view in the house (yes he’d requested it) and were approached to take our drinks order. Having ordered our glasses of Champagne, we started delving into the menu. Whilst the Fiancée thought this would be super easy (one of everything with truffle in it, on it or around it), it turned out to be slightly more difficult as I’m practically vegan on a Friday. Anyway we made do and selected everything we could think of! We started off with the Buffalo Mozzarella which was perfectly soft & creamy. Buffalo Mozzarella To keep things on the healthy side, we decided on a Rare Tuna Superfood Salad to go with this.
I went to this place with my 2 kids after their school and it was splendid. The kids cherished having the capacity to see their pizzas being produced using scratch and both agreed they were the best pizzas they have ever had. Staff members were inviting and mindful in addition to being nice with the children. My youngsters asked me to take them to this place more often. It was really tasty. I definitely will recommend it to others.
Went here for a dinner with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Being a truffle lover, I called for the truffle mushroom pizza and it's safe to say it's one of the best I've had. However, you need to like truffle for it as it's a little heavily flavoured. The sides and pastas looked appetising however we were stuffed with a pizza each. The ambience is nice, but nothing extraordinaire, although gives a cozy vibe. The staff were quick and efficient. Overall, a great place to have authentic gourmet pizza.
Birthday months are always fun. However between planning a wedding, working full time and studying for my CIM Certificate, there hasn’t been a whole lot of celebrating. On top of that, the fiancée ran off for a weekend away for his cousins stag & the best bud ended up in Amsterdam! Boohoo to me.
Anyhoo, to make up for being away, the Fiancée did what he does best and booked me for date night. Meeting at 5.30 soon became 7.00 and our leisurely stroll around Selfridge was briskly cancelled in favour of heading over to the restaurant.
Being a Friday & a veggie day for me, he made the sensible choice not to take me to somewhere yummy, healthy and most likely Asian. Instead following a heap of research and a new-found love for Truffle, we meandered through the mews of Mayfair and ended up at the Mayfair Pizza Company – names Rocket in a previous life.

Anyway we made do and selected everything we could think of!
We started off with the Buffalo Mozzarella which was perfectly soft & creamy.
To keep things on the healthy side, we decided on a Rare Tuna Superfood Salad to go with this. Obviously we asked for the Tuna on the side which managed to satisfy the Mr’s craving for non veg food whilst keeping the salad veg.
To me this felt a little bit like rabbit food, but the Mr seemed to like it and given that it gave us a dose of superfood, I really shouldn’t be complaining.
As if we really needed any more starters, we got a bit excited and ordered the Loaded Potato Skins with wild mushroom & spinach.
These were good, quite Moorish and very filling, we didn’t quite make it through both pieces, however had there been some truffle thrown into the mushroom & spinach party, I’m sure these would have gone within minutes.
Onwards & upwards, we finished starters and along came out mains. Because were piggy’s we ordered the starter size Mac ‘n’ Cheese. This was cheesy and yummy but in the normal fashion, it was super heavy.
With regard to Pizza we had to do the right thing and order the Mayfair Pizza Co Truffle & Porcini Mushroom Pizza. I have to say, this did not disappoint.
Whilst it doesn’t look that different to a humble Domino’s pizza in the picture, it tasted amazing. The truffle flavour was just intense enough and worked amazingly with the cheese. I’m literally salivating whilst writing this.
As I’ve already said, were piggy’s, so there was no way we were visiting this truffle haven without ordering the most unhealthy thing on the menu – the Black Truffle & Parmesan Chips.
Oh. My. God. Were. These. Good. – enough said!
By the time we made our way through the massive amount of food on the table, we suddenly realised we may well have ordered too much food! The fiancée bought be here because he’d read amazing reviews about the dessert pizza. But it was at this point we realised we may not even make it to dessert!
In order to stop ourselves from eating more, I had to put an empty bowl over the chips and then declare that the Fiancée wouldn’t want to eat them now as the bottom of the bowl is likely to be dirty. Thankfully this thought also stopped me from devouring any further.
Just when I thought we were done and mentally started preparing myself & my food baby to curl up in bed and sleep for an eternity, then my birthday dessert showed up.
I tried my best not to eat it, I stared for a bit, blew out the candle and then stared some more. However there reaches a point when the dessert starts talking to you and its at this point you know you just have to eat it…and so I made some room in my stomach and gobbled up the whole plate!
Wedding diet?! What wedding diet!
The Mayfair pizza company is located down a windy packed street off New Bond Street which is packed with other bars & eateries. Up some stairs you are greeted with a modern, spacious buzzy restaurant. There are a huge selection of pizzas (surprisingly!) on the menu featuring a range of exotic ingredients - from various cheeses to pulled pork. I settled on the gourmet - slow cooked beef brisket with smoked mozzarella & sub dried tomatoes. The pizza arrived quickly on a rustic board & was delicious - the ingredients worked so well together on the beautifully cooked base, the smoked mozzarella was particularly delicious. In my group of 4 we all ordered different pizzas & everyone cleared there plates. We finished by sharing a Nutella & marshmallow calzone - delicious but extremely rich - sharing was a good option! Special note must go to the procecco on tap - delicious & just the right level of acidity. A relaxed fun place for a dinner with friends.
Good place to work from and have meetings. Large selection of salads and breakfast options as well as pastries.
Noise ambience is a little loud so headphones recommended if you're looking to work.
Wow nice aromatic coffee , wonderful taste , pleasant atmosphere, good location.
Highly Recommended for sweets and coffee time .
Better than Pret. Great service today thank you. Easy, efficient and convenient. Tables nicely laid out to give customers room to eat and meet. Flat white excellent.
I went in the morning for breakfast, the Avo on toast was simply delicious!
Nice seating area outside.
Friendly staff.
Nice interior, in a fancy corner of London with designer brands down the street. Was quiet when I went in the evening.
Good selection of sandwiches, like Mexican five bean wrap, and cheese sandwich.
I can say that coconut porridge with banana and honey is wonderlicious. They put even a whole banana on top of it.🙈
Also love the space inside.
A hidden gem on a mundane street, just off Bond Street. Welcoming staff, great coffee, delicious food and reasonably priced! Highly recommended.
Quite a nice place. A little bit over priced in my opinion.
The chocolate brownie is quite nice and it is good that they have a range of milk choices for a coffee.
Good coffee and a various selection of sandwiches and salads!
Good coffee, service during busy periods can get a little random but they do care and try their best, place is clean, tidy, ambient music is good, great place to meet for casual business.
