Best donuts I’ve ever had no joke. Came bc Jolly recommended it and it was worth it. Chocolate bc donut was honestly not good and I wouldn’t recommend it. HOWEVER, definitely get the vanilla custard and pistachio donuts. The custard inside was rly nice and creamy and not too sweet either. Highly recommend and the prices were acceptable for what London is. I don’t love donuts but this is like the best donut I’ve had.

Nice place to take a deep breath before returning to the buzzle again. For nearly three decades Neal’s Yard has been my favorite silent spot in London. The cinnamon roll is delicious by the way!

Friendly service! Was recommended the donuts, almond croissant & cinnamon bun. Got cinnamon buns, which is more the flaky pastry kind. Enjoyed it v much

Excellent bakery and some of the best doughnuts in London. I always go for the classics, either the vanilla or chocolate custard doughnuts! Perfect as a treat or as gifts! I’m not as much a fan of their sourdough though, seems like it was too hard for my liking!

Delicious donuts. Creamy, tasty filling (both vanilla and chocolate are lovely) and soft dough coated in sugar. Expensive at £3.90 each but good for an occasional treat.

Our visit to St. JOHN Bakery Neal's Yard in London turned out to be an absolute delight, and I'm thrilled to share our wonderful experience. The counter staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, making us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped in. Their excellent customer service significantly enhanced our visit and set the tone for a fantastic bakery experience. The coffee deserves a special mention for its robust and pleasing taste - a perfect accompaniment to the outstanding pastries. The filled pastries were a highlight, impressively crafted and bursting with flavor. But the true star of our visit was the cinnamon croissant. It was nothing short of phenomenal. The perfect balance of sweetness, a hint of spice from the cinnamon, and the impeccable flaky texture made it a memorable treat. It's a must-visit spot for anyone seeking an exceptional bakery experience in London.

Gobbled them up so fast that we forgot to take a picture! The donut was light and fluffy, not oily. Every bite had a generous amount of filling. Couldn’t decide which of the 3 flavours we liked the most! Will definitely come back for more.

No1 doughnuts in London! Soft bread and very tasty cream. I tried vanilla and chocolate. Both are good but I like vanilla very much. It is not so sweet and not oily. I will try sandwich and sourdough.

Great vanilla doughnut and coffee. Their croissant was not good at all, it tasted like a grocery store croissant…

Just wow! Such a cute little hidden gem! The best donuts I had in a good while! Worth every penny honestly! So light and fluffy with so much filling inside! I had two Doughnuts myself but I could easily eat a dozen! So much better then krispy creme or doughnuttime 🫶🏻

Oh my goodness, the donut was delicious. I had a chocolate one, they are absolutely full to bursting with filling, the chocolate filling was delicious, nothing like the usual cheap rubbish you get in a supermarket. The donut itself is probably the best I've ever had, and I've had warm graffi on the beach in Italy!!! The cinnamon bun was also very nice but the donuts are where it's at!!

They had a range of breads to doughnuts and, as it was december, mince pies. Tried an eccles cake, pastry very flaky, but the filling was a bit too chewy for my taste (given it was my first eccles, dont really know how they should taste though). My friend tried a doughnut and that was apparently very good.

Great donuts but taking 2 stars off for lack of freshness. I arrived after 9am on a Wednesday, taking the last three donuts (chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry). Not sure why the woman did not offer the freshly baked batch she was working on but here we are. The chocolate has a deep chocolate flavor but the filling is too sweet. It could use a touch of bitterness. The vanilla is excellent, not cloyingly sweet and with specks of vanilla. The raspberry was the best and earns the 4th star. It was the perfect balance of sharp and sweet. Will give this bakery another try the next time I am in London - hopefully getting there earlier.

I wanted to compare the Breadahead doughnuts with St John, but I love them both. Fantastic bread & you can also pick up St. John wines at this location too. Well worth a stop before heading home from London. Ps forgot to mention the sandwiches.

Fantastic doughnuts, worth the hype. The jam ones were the best.
