Go to this place if u hate toilet doors and non pissy shoes and nice drinks and a comfortable room temperature and personal space and polite staff and a short queueing time and good music and sober people
Brilliant sound system and nice beer! Perfect venue!
Life-affirming, if I could give 6 stars I would!
Darklands, (rock n roll, synth). Every 1st Wednesday of the Month one of the best nights at the alibi!
I always been in this bar , staff are friendly and always nice atmosphere witch is amazing . Will always go to this venue when I go to this area
Just wondering where i can find the pictures taken from last night? Sat 20th ! Anyone? Thanks
One of my favourite places in London!
Monday karaoke, my weekly reset for the past 7 weeks.
Not sure what I'm going to do without this in my life when I return to Canada.
local club, great music, solid times- and the free entry is proper. Loved this place. Dope hip hop on friday without the guilt of paying an arm and a leg!
I've played a number of venues over the years and this place always holds up as being one of the special ones. As close as you're ever likely to get to an underground space via late 70's NYC....
One of the best spot to get together and have fun in down town dalston kingsland hackney E 8.
It's good in here. I like the bar staff and the music and the drinks and the walls and the floors and the ceiling(s).
Went on a pub quiz night, great atmosphere and a really casual setting.
The Alibi is our go-to place, always. I started going there about three years ago and just keep coming back. Sure, some of their nights are questionable but overall it's a great place. Drinks are not amazing but it's not really a place you would go to for fancy cocktails anyway. Would recommend Thursday and Friday nights!
Love this basement club/bar. good music, staff cool and drinks very good price. Punters there for a good time, check out the city riot night with ska, rocksteady and rhythm & blues
Really like ot here, weird how different the vibe can be. Mondays are mad with karaoke goers. Tuesday was really quiet but still awesome. Late licence until 3am.
Twenty Something London

The Alibi is a diamond in Dalston’s rough. Opened and run by underground collective Real Gold, its doors opened March 2010 and has been a little basement of fun ever since. The entry is always free, the drinks are cheap and the music is eclectic. There are various little sections in The Alibi to get lost in, including a small but brilliant dancefloor with an Acoustic Void soundsystem. TSL recommend getting here between 11pm-11:30pm to take advantage of a good ambience and avoid queues...

the dive bar if there ever was one the alibi is a great place to drink in east london. bar staff are cool and very good looking (ask for axel!) and this place always has a good vibe. not cheap but well worth it.
Very cool, bar and club. Brilliant dance music and a huge selection of ciders and beers. Full of cool and interesting people.
Good vibe, great tunes and decently priced for the hip location. Come for the seinfeld & curb nights, stay for a few drinks! Recommended.
Use to love this place when I moved to London! Opens every day till decent times, it's great to go out there during the week!So different things going on there though
Excellent music, late openings and usually free in. These in combination make for a reliable good night out in Dalston.
Spit’n’sawdust basement venue that’s ripe for that stumbly stage of the night. It gets rammed (and I mean rammed) and it’s the opposite of fancy but good club nights and gigs.
A dying breed of inclusive underground recreation in Dalston. Fair prices and sincere music policy. “Don’t assume!”
