Excellent traditional fish & chip restaurant with authentic (and original) retro decor. I always have the large haddock and chips with a side of mushy peas and a cup of tea. A good, simple and honest restaurant in a rather posh neighbourhood.
Great food and good staff! I had the Cod fish and fries, and Banana fritter for dessert, and it was very good!
The price table have been updated, it's a little more expensive now but it totally deserves it.
This is by far the BEST fish and chips restaurant we’ve ever been to down South having been loyal customers for near to 15 years.
As the name of the restaurant promotes… QUALITY, presentation and portion sizes are huge, which makes their offering value for money.
The customer service is excellent… from the lovely lady who always greets you with a smile when she takes your order and efficiently serves your meal… to those who carefully cook your food to perfection… it comes well-presented and hot.
It’s always a joy to visit and a worthwhile tourist attraction if you’re new to the area and fancy a bite to eat.
Did you know… the restaurant also featured in an TV action-drama.
I love this place, in my opinion this is the best fish and chips in the city. The fish is always fresh and the portion size is big.
Same as it’s name! Pure quality. Fresh fish 😉
Great portions and quickly service.
The gravy sauce is so delicious as well.
I enjoyed the fish and chips in Quality Fish. We ordered large Cod & Haddock. Both were great and valuable. I also loved the authentic design of the restaurant. Will definitely visit again.
Very fresh fish and chips, waited about 5 minutes for the fish to be freshly cooked. The batter was light and the fish was flaky. I ordered the small portion and it was pretty big.
Good value
What a little gem of a place. Big welcome on entering and quickly seated. Drinks arrived really quickly. The food was amazing, great quality and big portions. The prices were competitive too. Will definitely be returning.

Very nice fish based restaurant! We loved it, it has a lot of choices from fish and chips to prawn salad and poached cod!
Hughly recommand
This was my first visit to this fish & chip restaurant, as I was taking an elderly friend who has been many times before.
I’m not a lover of fish & chips, having had bad experiences elsewhere. However, I was most impressed by the friendly team and the fantastic way they looked after my friend.
We ordered cod and chips, one small and one large, one with mushy peas and one with onion rings.
The portion sizes were well worth every penny spent and the food tasted excellent.
I loathe huge amounts of heavy batter, so I was delighted to find just the right amount, which was not oily. Chips were excellent. My friend enjoyed her mushy peas as much as I enjoyed my onion rings.
We both had a cup of tea with our meal. Although we were going to go for a dessert, it was not to be as we were both full, and extremely satisfied!!
I see from some people’s reviews that they are negative about the decor. Sure, it’s a little dated, but it’s absolutely fine, clean and more than serves its purpose.
Likewise I see sone moan about the food. Speaking as I find, I had no qualms whatsoever.
I’d definitely return anytime and I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone.
As the restaurant now take card payment, it makes life so much easier.
Well done to the entire team. We will be back, for sure!!
The best fish and chips I've ever tasted. We go there often. Take away or dine in, if you are passing you have to go in. Very reasonably priced and large portion size.
Perfect fish and chip experience! Curry sauce was delicious! Close to the Ted Lasso Pub. Great fit for tourists and locals.
A family favourite. They do one of best fish and chips in London. Friendly service. Great value and good quality. Lovely.
Pretty much perfect!
Pre game day feed, fantastic interior, time capsule stuff. Service lovely, attentive and prompt. Food all we could ask for but Curry Sauce was a bit lacking. Will be back for sure!
A family favourite. They do one of best fish and chips in London. Friendly service. Great value and good quality. Lovely.
Very real place, perfect for some traditional fish n chips. Fish was tasty and crispy on the outside, chips were hand cut, very tasty. Atmosphere is on the interesting side - worth checking it out!
The best old school style fish & chips in Richmond. I love how the inside hasn’t changed in years
Perfect chips, perfectly battered fish cooked fresh, friendly and accommodating staff; vintage 60s fittings lovingly preserved; easily the best f&c in the area (maybe in London….?)
