Great pub with great food with a really affordable backpackers attached. With a free breakfast, you couldn't ask for more :)

Tucked away, this bar has a hostel above it, and so cultivates a laid back feel. They serve a great flat white, and there are plenty of sofas and tables. I highly recommend this place, to get away from some of the more upmarket bars at the Wharf.

As a hostel good value for money. Don't expect Marriott when you pay peanuts. Friendly staff. Breakfast included in price - nothing exceptional but fairly ok. Recommend for short budget stays.

Great hostel! Good facilities, friendly staff, good far and pizza that is delicious. The breakfast is really just sorta toast and cocoa krispies. The only drawback is that it is a bit far away, but really close to a tube line so the commute is not that bad as you will be jumping on the tube no matter where you are if you are vacationing in London.

It's there and it serves some decent beers. Staff can be a bit hit and miss but generally a pretty decent pint. The fact that it is one of very few dog freindly pubs on the Isle edge it to four stars.

To be fair I’ve had one of the greatest moments in that place.. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.. Beds were little wormed at the time which was 2 years ago.. Location it’s great and only few second walk away Thames River.. If you don’t mind sharing room with bunch of other snorers definitely recommend it!

Great little local! Cold beer, hot food and tidy pub. Massive coffee lounge and pool table. Traditional London pub and a great place to stay if you are in need of a hostel!

Great place to stay at! Stayed for 4nights and found good showers and bathrooms (they're never busy if you are used to wake up early), beds are comfortable, lockers do their work and people met in this hostel were variegated - people on their trip, on holiday or working, but all nice and discreet. There's an awarded pub downstairs, so you can have good meals (within 8pm) and choose from good selection of draughts and real ales. You can share your time with many locals coming from outside, at every time of your day. Commuting to London is easy and nice, Greenwich is beyond the Thames. You can reach it by a foot-tunnel and visit this stunning part of the town, that features an observatory, a historical ship (the Cutty Sark), 2 nice markets and many other amenities. Would like to thank Luc, BigJack, Francesca, the italian chef and everyone up there!

Best Staff Ever. As I have stayed here at the hostel, eaten, drank, I can say this is one of the best pubs on the Isle of Dogs, and probably the best hostel in London.

Beautiful Hostel near the Thames and too at Mudchute Park. Staff is very friendly and is Always available. Hostel is very quiet, there is free wi-fi and hot shower. There is also a laundry at 30 meters from the hostel. ;)

Top old East End pub, which needs support. 5 star hygiene rating. Moretti on tap, say no more!
