I recently visited the McDonald's in Thornton Heath, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The ambience was surprisingly good for a fast-food restaurant; it had a clean and inviting atmosphere that made me feel comfortable. The cleanliness of the place was also impressive; the tables were spotless, and the floor was well-maintained.
What truly stood out, though, was the staff. The employees were not only efficient in taking and delivering orders but also incredibly friendly and helpful. They seemed genuinely committed to ensuring a positive customer experience.
All in all, my visit to this McDonald's location in Thornton Heath exceeded my expectations. It's not just a convenient spot for a quick meal, but it also offers a pleasant environment with a dedicated and courteous staff. I'll definitely be returning.

Recently renovated, amazing new seating, place is kept relatively clean, the restaurant does look really good inside and well looked after. Friendly staff and a quick meal. 2 Wireless chargers across the whole restaurant but most seats have USB charging sockets. Has self service tills along with mobile ordering and drop off in the car park. Also has a drive through and 24 hour service.
I don't know why they filled the cup with hot chocolate until it was half full!
I was surprised that the dining area was clean (3:20 am), the toilets were fine( the hand dryers did not work properly), you could use the plugs, and you could enjoy great music. Overall, this place is safe and calm.
We always come here, and we always get our order wrong, but it’s okay because it’s kinda funny. The other day they gave me the burger without the burger inside.
But on another note, why is there always classical music playing in the dinning area 😂😂😂
They have refurbished this place, and it looks nice. The downside is self-service. A few people wanted to pay by cash, and it took a long time to get seen,
Use this place often. Wouldn’t eat in if you paid me.. drive thru is good though. Decent staff and service

I was there in the early afternoon, enjoyed option of kiosk order as its a faster option, spacious seating, only worry was that tables are not being cleaned straight away between seating so you find yourself cleaning crumbs off the table before enjoying your meal.
With two hungry children in the back of a hot car after a long drive, where else to stop but McDonald's?

Only ordered desserts. Lovely service from the lady at the fill. Very polite and kept us informed as there was a small delay.
Quite busy but some staff like (Ade) were friendly and understanding and very competent and helpful so thanks to him we were assured food was being prepared. Well done to him! He needs to be commended for his work
Been there couple of times never had to complain but BOH staff are making burgers touching the ingredients with their bear hands then you see them touching their faces and trousers and back making burgers without sanitising them, this isn’t the first Mc Donald I see this kind of practice and it is a bit of a concern.
