Always a lovely cafe to head to. Such a nice ambience and atmosphere to have such delicious varieties of food and drink items. The prices are reasonable, the staff is highly professional and friendly and the service is prompt and punctual too.
Walking into the always busy Gran Caffe in Knightsbridge (opposite Harrods) was like walking into an upmarket café in Dubai; the faces were all the same, Middle Eastern…and Russian. It has a warm, plush ambiance befitting its location. The tea, coffee (Irish in my case), and pastries we had were all lovely – everybody happy. Service was attentive but staggered, which means we got some but not all of our order on time. Our party of eight were not the only ones to have young kids with them, no problem there. So, if you’re in the area and looking for somewhere to have, anything from breakfast to dinner, the pleasant Gran Caffe is worth a visit…especially if you’re a home sick Middle Easterner…or Russian.
Waste NOT. Want NOT.
I was invited here for breakfast and had French Toast and a smoothie; it was a real treat and very delicious. Fresh ingredients and service was good, but it is quite overpriced.
When people normally think about having an afternoon tea experience their first thought is to look at hotels and their formal dining rooms. Whilst there are many fabulous options they usually have a nice price tag to match. What if I told you I have found one that has equally tasty food but is great value too? I enjoyed my visit to Gran Caffe Londra so much I just had to share it with you. Prices at the hotels generally start around £50 per person, at Gran Caffe Londra ours was priced at £24 each including a glass of bubbly Situated in Knightsbridge directly opposite that world famous department store Harrods, where incidentally I used to work, this place is definitely worth checking out.
I always have to sit there every time I visit London, it is a must. They have the best orange juice ever and the best pastries, I suggest you visit it, The staff are friendly and always try to help, and I love the ambience especially because I like places with light in them, it is a Superb place to have breakfast at!!!
I absolutely love this place one of my favourite hangout spots the coffee is fantastic the staff are friendly the food selection is fantastic and the portions are always good
Being a fan of pastries, this cafe at Knightsbridge was recommended by a friend for relishing good desserts with a breakfast or afternoon tea. I happened to go there on a Saturday morning to this lovely cafe to have breakfast and some pastries or desserts.
The menu for the breakfast offered the regular breakfast dishes with a fair number of options to choose from. Being a fan of variety I opted to go in for the Full English Breakfast ,in which the highlight had to be the Bacon which was perfect with the right crispiness. The rest of the breakfast was satisfying too.
Moving on to the part that I was most excited about , the desserts ,me and my friend decided to share a couple of sweet dishes, one with chocolate and one non-chocolate. So we ordered Giotto which had the perfect creamy texture mousse with the perfect flavor blend of chocolate and coffee. And the second dessert we chose was Mille Feuille which had a good combination of creamy custard layering complimented with crispy and crumby layers. The overall food was up to the mark with a pleasing setting of the cafe.
After a long day of shopping in Harrods, this little Cafe was a blessing! The service was excellent, waiters were welcoming, constantly smiling and we were given a table quite quickly.
The space is quaint and really perfect picture of Afternoon tea, gorgeous!
I opted for an Earl Grey with a Mille Feuille - i have to admit i have high exceptions when cakes are considered, possibly because being Portuguese i was brought up amongst such a large selection of different cakes. I didn't know what to expect but as my first bite into the cake was A-MAAAY-ZINGGG! i enjoyed every bite, and had to fight the urge not to buy another!
Its the perfect place to go and catch up with a friend after shopping, you get amazing cakes and the price is really quite reasonable not only in regards to location but also in regards to the quality of the cakes.
And if you're lucky enough to get a table near the window, then i imagine the experience to be even better!
If you are shopping at harrods, this is place to unwind post shopping. The afternoon tea is brillian which cost around £18 per person and comes along with finger sandwiches, mini burges, souffles and cream clotted scones etc. Worth the money.
Other than the afternoon tea the place serves very good coffee and pasta dishes.
Try taking a window seat and see the best cars in London pass by full of shopping bags.
Recommended.
Service is excellent.
Really nice afternoon tea for good price £19.50 per person. Beautifully presented on black slates and a generous amount of food. Mint tea is served with fresh mint, very nice. Eclairs, profiteroles and strawberry gateau are medicocre. Don't order the strawberry gateau it's not nice. The cream is very buttery butter cream. Not fresh cream. Service was also good.
Great coffee and desserts at a nice atmosphere!
Service is excellent and this is one of the best choices if you are in the area for lunch or dinner too!
Only a few steps away from Harrods it's ideal for a quick beer between your shopping safari!
One of the tastiest restaurants I tried while in London for two weeks! Definitely the best service I have had, the staff was friendly and more attentive than most places I visited in London. The waiter was answered all questions thoroughly, except one, which he brought over the manager to make sure it was properly answered. The pesto sauce on my create your own pasta was amazing and my mom loved her croque monsieur. I had a screwdriver which had freshly squeezed orange juice and it was the best I've ever had! My mom had two glasses of prosecco. Unfortunately, both glasses had a smaller serving than a usual glass, the top didn't even reach the top of the logo on the glass! My only other complaint is that there was no spoon for the salt and pepper which were in open dishes. Having a spoon to serve yourself with would be very helpful and much more sanitary! The dessert we shared was quite good. Overall it was a lovely dinner with splendid service!
Late morning Breackfast on a Sunday, lovely place nice atmosphere service up to the standards of the area, one this if u come here for pancakes be sure to arrive at the latest 1030 because I don't know for what valid reason at 11 they won't be available any more.. Only disappointment. Bit pricey for some, tourist mainly, so be sure to look at the menu if is not your kind of place, after all you are next to Harrods in a really nice area.
Good. I like the warm salad. A very busy caffe, the service is slow, but it is all fine to me. If the price is more friendly, I would be more happy.
Been here since 20 April 2019. Desserts are fantastic.

Food took a long time, but we'll worth the wait. Really busy for Sunday brunch. But I will always go back. It's lovely
