I always love e coming g here The cocktails are THE BEST Bar Story Bonfire being the ultimate cocktail. Great atmosphere, great bar staff, environment chilled and easy going. The music is surprisingly really really good, right up my street The pizzas are surely the second best in the world (the best is in Jamaica St Elizabeth at Jack Sprat). It's a shame they stopped pizza Florentine

The thing is that I've never been there yet but [100009467810127:Sascha Husenbeth], "Alex", is taking wonderful stories about this place. Looking forward to going there in my next time in London!

2 for £7 or £8 cocktails from 6:00-7:00 *everyday!* Great for Fridays and Saturdays in London since its hard to find a happy hour in good places on the weekend!!! Plus the atmosphere is buzzing but chill. Slightly dim lighting which adds to the cool feel, along with the music, which isn't too loud so you can still hear people talk or too quiet, so the vibe isn't dead. The staff wear casual clothes and seem like down to earth, helpful people - plus they all know how to make banging cocktails!!! Didn't get the food because I didn't have time but the rustic pizzas were making my mouthwater. Just. Go.

Bar Story is the perfect venue for a catch up with friends - the atmosphere is buzzy but welcoming - it gets especially busy around their happy hour, which had some really great deals. Even though the cocktails were pretty cheap, they were really well made!

Great pizza that's well priced, cool venue, good place to meet friends in the week for a catch up or to have a night out on the weekend especially with Peckham Springs being just opposite

Located under the arches by Peckham Rye station, Bar Story is a modern, industrial-style bar. Since its opening, the arches have expanded so you will now find a host of bars and eateries, adding to the lively atmosphere of the area.

Grab a craft beer from a local brewery or a super-cheap cocktail (two for £7 during Happy Hour!) and relax in the huge lit courtyard for a great night out.

Back in Peckham and once again its another place making the most of the industrial side of town. Great range of beers and a huge garden, the staff are great too. The decor is tasteful and contemporary.

Roaring bonfire outside as we sat drinking, I am not sure whether this comes as standard or youthful enthusiasm to battle the trappings of winter creeping in. The place is vibrant and full of life.

I chose the Pioneer American IPA by Brick Brewery, the brewery is based at Peckham Rye station, the beers have only travelled a few minutes up the road. A nice beer not too hoppy or spicy, I would say it was a summer beer for me so I reverted back to the full bodied Kernel Citra IPA, still to me the king of bottled beer in London.

Cool place and another feather in the hat of Peckham's evolution.

Bar Story is a great looking pub, with a good ambiance. It's great for a Friday or Saturday night when you want some fun and bustle but don't want to go to central London. It's a young crowd and has a good outdoor seating area with great cocktails too. Has a nice East Village vibe to it.

Bar Story is squeezed into a railway arch underneath Peckham Rye station on the London Bridge line. It is popular with the young indie crowd in Peckham and serves some excellent cocktails along with bottled beer and wine. The bar is quite slow so be prepared to wait and seating inside is limited. There is also an outdoor terrace with rough and ready tables and chairs.

This bustling bar is a cool place to bring friends and to mix with a young crowd, though its probably a bit rowdy for a quiet drink.

Loved the cocktails and they were quite reasonably priced. Espresso Martini was my favourite. Fabulous staff. Great atmosphere. Nice seating arrangements outside. Definitely gonna come back for more. Also, met a very friendly feline fellow 🐱✌

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for a quiet cocktail after the cinema. Good espresso martinis. Minus one point for no crisps or nuts, only pizza or bread/hummus type food.

Staff are amazing, from when you reach the building they make you feel welcome. As they didn't have sweet cocktails they made my friend and I. If you're a non smoker and don't like the smell of cigarette like myself it's best to sit inside, which the staff again where happy to assist with. Best olives I've had, they were so sweet

Had a really great evening (shame we missed happy hour) the place was busy and had a nice vibe. I must make a special mention for the Jamaican Mule cocktail it was delicious 😋. The pizzas on a Wednesday evening are all at half price, so there's no reason not to go. I will be going again very soon. 🌟🌟🌟

Full advantage was taken of the cheap drinks during happy hour... All very quaffable but not sure we'd go back for full price...

Nice place. Outdoor seating although it's covered was wet, a lot of the benches were letting rain onto them. Cocktails were amazing though, and pizzas looked good

By far the most superior happy hour in Peckham. This is THE place to be. Super trendy crowd. Outdoor seating area back and front with fire pits in the winter that will warm you up whilst you sip on a cocktail. Stone baked pizzas are a must. Try the gin basil crush it's divine. Get there just before 6pm to miss the mad happy hour rush.

Does what it says on the label. Locals favourite and top quality pizzas.

Straightforward and stripped down, it's a model use of a bar / eatery in a railway arch. The no-nonsense approach continues in their pizza selection: a good range of thin crust meat, veg, and vegan options, made with fresh ingredients and simple combinations to maximise flavour. Great cocktails, although the bar staff attitude ranges from super friendly to malcontent. Nevermind, I'll be back for more pizza.

I am not a native Londoner but I felt quite at home at Bar Story. Warm atmosphere, literally, with a cool laid back staff. Great place to get pre-drinks and just to chill with some friends. Recommend this bar to anyone seeing that its always a great time. There is also great bar food!

I fell upon this gem after I had just been on a date to Peckham Plex to watch Marriage Story. Bar Story was perfect the perfect post date haunt. This exceptional bar with glorious cocktails and lovely pizzas was such a hit. I will definitely be coming back to Bar Story as the friendly staff were so accommodating.

Went here the other day for the first time and really enjoyed it. Really nice, friendly staff. A little on the expensive side (£3-3.20 a pint), but the food is wonderful and definitely worth the money. Try the potato wedges or the pizza. They do film screenings occasionally. The owner is also opening up another place nearby in the near future.

Four stars for being an amazing bar. I've been going to this place for close to a decade and it always delivers. Great food and ambiance. Really good drinks too. Cocktail scrum at happy hour has always been a nightmare, but that's what happens when you have such a good deal. But...minus one star for changing what had been the greatest mojito of all time. Used to be an amazing concoction, featuring a satisfying base layer of sugar, followed by relentless white rum, topped-off with a crown of dark rum. Christ knows who came up with the idea of tinkering with what seemed to be their most popular drink. But anyway it's now a much inferior watered down affair, with the sugar barely discernible and the dark rum switched out in favour of fizzy water. Such a shame. Fidel Castro would be turning in his grave...if he was dead.
