Atilla & his team did a HUGE order for dozens of customers our Hither Green Film Quiz last weekend.
The delivery arrived bang on time for the half time break in the quiz, & every box/packet of fish & chips, chips, mushy peas or sausage was written on with the name of the guest who it was for. Great attention to detail - even each cutlery set was wrapped with a napkin. Lots of v happy customers.
Very good fish and chips, especially for London where the quality is often lacking. This place is way better than any others I’ve tried in London. There’s no skin on the fish, hallelujah! And the chips are big chunky hand cut chips. The guy serving is also very polite and helpful.

The Best Fish and Chips I have ever had! Hither Green is so lucky! I have been here multiple times and had other Fish apart from Cod and it Never disappoints, as well as their burgers. And, bloke who also runs the place is a top man!

My go to chip shop and have tried most things on the menu, the cod and cod bites are fresh and have a nice batter on them. Chicken is consistently good too, nice spicy wings and pieces, saveloy and sausages are great, burgers are freshly cooked with fried onion, cheese etc and of course the chips, which are important are just right with good size portions too. The people that run the place are good guys as well.
I can't rate this fish bar enough. Not only is the food delicious but the staff go out of their way for their customers. After ordering on Just Eat and waiting a while I got a phone call from someone at Blue Marlin fish bar to say that they were having trouble getting a driver to deliver the food and so someone from the fish bar was going to deliver our order. It arrived quickly and was hot and delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this company. Thank you Blue Marlin fish bar.
Genuinely the best chips I've ever had. They hand cut them themselves. Very tasty, not greasy at all or dry. And very reasonably priced.
The owners are always friendly and welcoming, getting to know the locals. They're open until 10pm and always working hard to have fresh chips even if you arrive at half 9.
Paper bags too, so eco!
I can't speak for the fish or other meat products being vegetarian, however I highly reccomended the chips and judging from that I'd imagine the rest of the food is yum!

It was a nice bit of grub...The Fish and Chips were Pleasantly Fluffy and Nicely Fried. Food so tasty, makes you want to swim the River Thames!
My mum is such a food critic so she would only go back to somewhere if she generally enjoys the food, my mum has never been disappointed with the food or the customer service here.(My mum definitely recommends the skate fish 10/10)
Also after school I might have a sausage in batter and I have also noticed the quality of Blue Marlin, but to be honest the thing I love most about blue marlin is their customer service and the fact that each staff member is also very nice to their customers every day.
