Been here a few times. Fresh fish dishes. Great selection of beers. Can get busy so good idea to book.
Had a fantastic night here with friends...the staff are brilliant, very helpful and made us feel so welcome. Great atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The vibe downstairs was so much fun with the Dj - had us dancing all night long. The aquariums are a great feature too. Will definitely be back!
Really nice little bar. Went for happy hour with friends. Bar staff super friendly and the music was a real mixture of rnb classics and 80s smooth grooves, but not on too loud so you can definitely still have a conversation. I would say to reserve a table if there's a lot if you.
NYE was absolutely 10/10. When staff go above and beyond their call of duty this deserves a special mention. First off the door staff was welcoming, gave us a wristband and saw us to our table. Security were also very polite and respectful. Bar staff wore a smile the whole night and you could tell t
Had a fantastic night here. Manager was attentive and couldn't do enough for our group. The bar staff were polite and were always on the ball with drinks. Door staff were polite and helpful. Upstairs is spacious but downstairs is a but poky. Good for seating and would be fab for a private party/even
What a fantastic gem in my favourite London borough. Was looking for a bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday and this place appeared a couple of times in my online search. We were warmly welcomed by all the front staff upon arrival, it was a nightmare with the tube closure so a few of my party
Great bar for those who like to shake a leg! DJ played my favourite tunes, 90s & 80s music on Friday. The happy hour lasts until 9pm, which is longer than in the other bars in the area 😁 I had reserved a booth and my friends had loads of fun. The only thing that I would say to be mindful of is tha
Amazing place. Some of the nicest bouncers I've met in London. So friendly, they had such a laugh with everyone in the bar. Makes you feel very welcome. Cheap are pretty cheap and the music is good too
Dropped in later on a Thursday night and even though it was very busy the staff accommodated us very well and we enjoyed a drink at the bar until a table was available. The food is very good, three meat terrine starter was excellent with a good mix of game birds. The cod loin main was cooked to per
Really good Sunday pub food. Took a friend from the States here and he loved it. Good roast beef and roast venison, both with roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, carrots, Savoy cabbage, cauliflower cheese and gravy. Wild mushroom risotto special was also pretty good as were the black pudding croquet
The food is normally very good here. The service is usually very good too. The 241 deal for drinks running from 5-8pm is amazing value. There is a quiz night every Tuesday that seems to be well attended.
Like the decor, atmosphere and location. I first visited for lunch and sat outside with friends and ordered a burger and chips, which was very tasty although it was one of the less regal items on the menu. Returned for a lunch inside which was a pleasant affair. Tasty dishes in a small but not cram
Where at this restaurant with about 20 friends, had a set menu. I thought the food was overall very good, especially the lamb main dish I had was delicious. The pear with Stilton starter I had was nice tasting, but two small pieces pear with some scrapings of cheese seemed too small. The cheese cake
I went to The Well for pie on a Sunday afternoon and judging by my steak and guinness pie, the food is really decent. The gravy was a bit oily but the meat was tender and there was plenty of it. The side of buttery mash didn't go amiss either. Shame that the service was a little off. One of our wai
Had dinner with 3 friends - although heard ownership changing and staff not being kept on so things are likely to change... Some lovely craft beers on tap and my girlfriend loved her bloody Mary's. Black pudding croquettes where really tasty. Lamb Wellington looked excellent, but they only had one l
I am a very fussy eater and I was not expecting anything special after having spent 10 days in the Midlands where most meals were so-so. However, the dish I ordered - hake with pea gnocchi and broccoli was absolutely first class. I was so surprised. The thin broccoli just right, the small gnocchi n
We have had a couple of meals here. They have been outstanding. The Sunday roast was superb - massive portions. The burger, the monkfish- both excellent. And the desserts: I love the blood orange posset.
