So glad we found this place again (he’s recently moved location). This place is worthy of more than five stars. The best steam buns in London by a mile. The squid is a huge portion and the prices are more than affordable for London. The owner I think works alone, so he’s often busy but seemingly very hard working - (always a good sign you’ve made a good food choice). It’s well worth the visit, you’ll not be disappointed!
Steamer is absolutely fantastic, trust me you can't go wrong eating from this establishment. The service is top notch and the food to die for. The squid is excellent and portion sizes are generous. Check these guys out and try there delicious food

Delicious steamed buns, if you need something quick on the go. Also, highly recommend the noodle soup. Super friendly couple who own the place, always great service!
Best Chinese food in London! Real hidden gem - the place is nothing fancy, but the food is amazing,well priced and the guy who runs it is so friendly. All the dishes are good but I like the spring rolls and noodles with blackbean sauce. The portions are very generous with lots of fresh veg and ingredients, which makes it quite healthy, unlike most other Chinese takeouts where there is only noodles and beansprouts. In summary, Peckham Steamer is great. Shame they didn't do delivery, but worth the travel to get.
It is a small Chinese takeaway. Never never judge the book by his cover. It is small, simple, but the food is really really good. It’s worth to buy it! The best Chinese takeaway in Peckham! The vegetable bun is my favourite, they have also really good soups and stir-fried dishes.

One of my fave take away of the area. Their siu mai dim sum is one of the best I've EVER tried, along with a very extensive menu where you can have from sup to chow main going through dumplings and steamed bao (I personally love the pork and chinese cabbage one), and their attention towards the clients couldn't be best.
The spot where they are is small, but their working area is very clean and they work on a very high hygiene level. You should visit them and enjoy their lovely food!
I was a bit skeptical about this place but I was completely wrong. Great value for money. The dumplings I had were delicious and savory. I’m giving only 4 stars because the tables were dirty, they should be a little bit more concerned about that, otherwise this little place it’s worth giving it a try!
