Chinatown Flavor Canteen is here again~ The Flavor Canteen opened in a prime location under the Chinatown plaque in London is really delicious. It specializes in northern cuisine, hot pot, barbecue and pasta, and they are all delicious! !
🍖Osmanthus sugar lotus root, I love it so much! The sweet osmanthus garnishes the stuffed lotus root, and the appetizer is as big as the main dish, so you can enjoy it all at once!
🍖Xinjiang large plate chicken, their tomatoes are rich in base and sour; just the right amount of chili pepper, full of spiciness; the chicken is large or small, attached to the bone, fresh and tender, especially delicious! The belt noodles soaked in the large plate of chicken soaked up the soup so much that you couldn't stop eating it!
🍖Vermicelli cabbage, soft and glutinous vermicelli stir-fried cabbage is really super fragrant~ There are enough vermicelli and cabbage in every bite, one is crispy and the other is glutinous, and the hot pot flavor of dried chili is great!
🍖Braised noodles with tomatoes and eggs, super delicious! A classic among classics ~ Although tomatoes and eggs are a home-cooked dish, it shows your skill. It is neither salty nor bland, and is just right as a noodle sauce! This bowl of noodles is really simple but not simple, light but not bland~
🍖Grilled beef tendon and beef skewers, if you still want to eat a few skewers for the barbecue festival, beef tendon and beef are really the best choice~ The beef skewers are fat and thin, and the beef tendon is juicy and delicious. I really like it!
It’s really delicious! Whether it's the portion size or the taste, it's definitely unique, and the environment and service are also very good ~ let's go to the family!

Absolutely amazing hand pull noddles. The texture of the noodle is on the point, feels like I am back to China, like the one you will have in Beijing. Such an underrated restaurant! They deserve more credit than it should be. Apparently this is their signature dish !
Don't know why the rating is so low, but personally I love this restaurant a lot since it has authentic Chinese food taste. The restaurant has a mixed of different lines of Chinese food types. Recommend the fish with sour cabbage, La Pi and the barbecue of lamb or beef which is what I really miss in Europe. Their plum juice is also nice because it is not super sweet but tasty. Location is in China town and easy to find. Recommend to try if you are Chinese food fan.
The food was great and the service was ok. The place was a bit loud. I ordered fried rice, dumplings, noodles and kung po chicken.
I've enter this place randomly to eat.
The location has asian vibes and music.
I had a portion of chill oil beef biang biang noodles and I must say they were incredible.
One thing to note the menu doesn't specify the quantity of the food, but I was full at the end of my lunch.
I recommend this place
What a delight! Real Beijing is always my go-to spot in Chinatown for hot pot and authentic Northern Chinese food. My favourite are the skewers: spice level is always on point, nice and crispy. But everything else is perfect too, never had an issue. Unlimited hotpot is also reasonably priced given the good quality of their food. Staff are friendly and very helpful, they are always willing to help when we needed suggestions (the menu covers a good range). Been there for years and more to come!
Hotpot buffet is pretty good but spicy soup is very hot. Prices are a little high.
We had a decadent Chinese New Year feast here, complete with the whole steamed fish tray, noodles, and lotus with sweet rice for dessert.
The fish is an absolute must. It comes in a big silver tray with heating below so it stays warm and stewing while you eat. The fish is tender and flavorful, having soaked up all the decadent chiles and spices. You can also order add-ins to include in the stew such as potatoes, bamboo, tofu… whatever you’re in the mood for.
The lotus stuffed with sweet sticky rice was a first for me but provided a nice light finish to the meal that was just the right balance of sweet and fresh.
Also, if you’re directionally challenged like me, yes the restaurant is the one with all the hotpot signs in front! We saw many people doing different styles of hotpot as well as grilled skewers which we will definitely be returning for.
Hot pot was great, such a huge variety of food to choose from. Was a bit overpriced (£30 pp) so if you probably won’t eat a lot, maybe get something else. Service was good too.
This place was busy and lots of chinese customers.
Food here is good and offer something different than the other Chinese restaurants here.
Hot pot is for sure a good option but so is everything else on the menu. Come hungry!
