Par Cafe - London - Photo album

Looking for a quick bite to eat I popped in and was pleasantly surprised. Good honest food with no pretensions. I had a jacket potato with an excellent sausage, cheese, butter and beans.Served by Peter the owner, a very amiable and chatty guy. Well worth a visit.
Met Peter today on my way to a casting in London. Definitely going to come back and bring my wife for a breakfast one day. Also learnt that Peter first set up shop there when my wife was 1 years old! Great place
Stumbled across this place today and grateful that I did. The owner, Peter, is a special guy with a warm spirit. Salt beef sandwich was delicious. Will definitely be back.
Edit: RIP Peter. Will always think you when I’m having a cooked breakfast in a greasy spoon. Lovely local cafe, very welcoming. Focused menu, with only high quality ingredients. Always time for a nice chat about football, beer and local stuff!
Brilliant experience with Peter. Food was spectacular, hot and very filling! (Meat from Smithfield's too!) The garlic sausage was a personal highlight. Tea and toast on demand. Did not disappoint in the slightest! I'll be back in a hurry :)
Great host. Watford fan who loved nothing better on a Sunday morning than talking football and beer to me and my two mates down from Scotland for the weekend. Food was of the post-beer comfort variety. Tasted excellent. The bubble and squeak went down a treat. Even some old good beer guides to leaf
This is a true gem of a cafe, you can tell the owner, Peter, is keen to serve, fresh, good qaulity ingredients and they are properly cooked and well presented.. If you are looking for breakfast and in the area – this place is highly recommended.
You'll get a delicious, substantial and good value meal here as well as support a longstanding local business. Peter is lovely.
I haven't been for awhile, and wondered if it's still there. Great to see it is. Used to love it when I worked local. Peter is a lovely man, fondly remember talking football with him. Great breakfast. Need to pay a visit.
Top place. Great food, really friendly and exactly what you want in a British cafe! Will definitely visit again!
We are working nearby every weekend for the next 3 months and we came across this cafe to get breakfast. What a find. Not only great food sourced from Smithfields but Peter the owner is a lovely man and is a great source of local knowledge as well as a big football fan. Lovely tea and coffee too whi
A brilliant place, run by a lovely friendly man who will provide you with nice food and local knowledge. Clientele all have time for a chat. No music. Unpretentious. Calm. Very good homemade shortbread but it sells out quickly. This is the cafe version of a really good old man pub. Visit.
Great man great food my brother was visiting from Canada and this was his favourite breakfast place.
I have been coming to Peter for his bacon sandwiches for over 25 years Smoked bacon on crusty bread Great service and always great chat Excellent 5 star
An absolute gem of a caf. Locally sourced, high quality food at unbeatable prices. Pete, the owner, is so lovely and personable - lucky to have him in the neighborhood!
If your in this part of the city this cafe is a must Peter (the owner) makes you feel like an old friend his full English breakfast is the best ive ever had all I can say is spot on
I am so missing having several of Pete's wonderful Christmas Lunches on the run up to the holidays. The biggest regret of moving away is that I will not hear Pete say "Good to see you. Thanks for coming" and join in the sparkling banter while stuffing my face. A gem in a world of artificiality. Merr
Amazing full English breakfast. Great quality-price. You need to pay by cash.
Smashing breakfast - heaps of sourdough toast, proper butter, Heinz ketchup, finest quality meat, endless tea, very friendly service - more of a host, really. Won’t need to eat for a few days!
