Mem and Laz review Entrance - Very easy to find, on Upper Street just off a side road and very inviting. Food - I ordered the Chargrilled lamb chops with rice and salad and chilli sauce. They asked me how I would like my lamb chops done and I said medium rare. They were cooked to perfection, the rice was nice and fluffy, the salad was fresh & the chilli sauce was so authentic and to do die for!! My friend ordered the Mix Mezze & really enjoyed! Hot food, seasoned well & great taste! Drinks - We ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio with a 7up as a spritzer. Very tasty!! Decor - Absolutely beautiful! It had a nice traditional feel to it! Loved it! Atmosphere - very busy but it was understandable, good vibes all around! Cleanliness - Very clean and tidy, could not fault it. Cost - £116 for the both of us which I thought was reasonably priced! Customer service - Everyone was nice, friendly & attentive. Anything we needed was done within minutes, great staff! Overall - 10/10 - the food was great, the drinks were great and the staff were even better!! I look forward to returning, thank you!

It's hard to find places like this in London. Without so much fuss, with delicious food and not so expensive. ‌ They have a huge menu, so I need to go back and try a couple more dishes, but I loved all the options they have. ‌

Beautiful place, intimate atmosphere with stylish lights fetched from charity shops for 5£ each ——the owner says. What a place to enjoy a nice Friday night with some wine and a good catchup of old friends! As we had dinner already, we were looking for a place to have a drink and a chat. The owner saw us outside looking at the menu, welcomed us warmly with joy—— so we decided to try this restaurant out of many others on this street! Turns out this is a great choice. Friendly service and particularly we enjoyed the dessert. The chocolate melts in your mouth with a silky smooth texture, and it has deep chocolate aroma, paired just right with unsweetened (or slightly sweetened) cream. A bittersweet symphony.

Very nice place with nice people and most important delicious food. Ordered mussels and lokum (meat) and both were delicious. Especially if you're a mussels lover you'll need to try those mussels. The baklava and Turkish coffee were on the house and those were great too. The chief and workers are very nice. When I visit London again, I'll definitely try Mem & Laz again ;)

When you first see it from outside you think to yourself that it’s a small restaurant, but it isn’t. It’s a very long one with two floors. The staff is welcoming and is looking out for you throughout your meal. Unfortunately, we arrived at rush hour and had to wait quite a lot before being asked out choices. The food is tasty, as advertised, lots of seasoning and different kinds of tasty meals. I personally recommend the seafood casserole or mixed seafood. The mixed mezze is also very good, the bread comes out of the wood oven. On the social side of the restaurant, it is very noisy but it has this very warm and welcoming side. The toilets are not accessible for handicapped people, the ground floor is for the first part, but to access the second part you have to use stairs. In the end it was a very good experience. I’d recommend it. I’d advise you to book in advance (at least a few hours) to have a table.

Upon entry the restaurant provide a decent atmosphere and staff are welcoming. The food was good and presented well . Overall decent experience the only negative i would say is the layout is a little cramped and food wasn't that great.

We chose the original smaller unit, the one closer to Upper Street, no preference because the much larger one next door is equally good but the smaller one is more intimate perhaps. Delicious 3 course meals for 3 adults, we all chose something different and every meal was perfect, great flavours, perfect portion sizes and every request was met. Enormous choice in menu and plenty to choose from from the drinks menu. All reasonably priced. Service friendly and faultless. I've been coming here occasionally for years, consistently excellent.

I had the lovely opportunity of visiting Mem and Laz this weekend to install some beautiful balloons for a lovely lady celebrating her sons First Holy Communion. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. What a stunning place! I had no idea it was so huge and catered for so many different events. If you are looking for a great restaurant with fab staff in a friendly relaxed atmosphere this is your venue! And if you need some balloons get in touch with us @helloshenanigans

Came for dinner with a group. Booking in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. The food and service is very good. The mixed meze was excellent and the portions are generous. The main courses are also good and the the menu is extensive, so there's always something for everyone.
