Hidden Waterloo Thai. Randomly found in a dark road, 10 minutes distance from Waterloo station, Sino Thai hasn't definitely got anything smart or luxury about it. Much more similar to an old local Chinese place, I was actually surprised when I realized they serve Thai food.
Guess what, it was nothing fancy but the portions were generous and very tasty, overall quick and very enjoyable. I wouldn't certainly invite anyone on a date or a business dinner but this place is recommended for a sudden Thai craving.
Smells great, looks great, tasted great. All around amazing food. The veggie options where really nice and the waitresses were kind. Definitely going back!
Food was delicious and affordable. Unpretentious in the best way. My partner loved it so much. My favourite was set A...brillant
Food looked great & tasted great. Nothing bad I can say. Popular place and the low average Google reviews don't do this place justice, at least in my experience.
Sino Thai offers a fusion of Thai and Chinese cuisine, and very tasty it is too. There's indoor/outdoor seating options, very friendly staff and the wines aren't particularly overpriced for London. But - and it's just a small quibble - the service was actually too quick! Our starters arrived within a few minutes of ordering, and then the mains arrived before we'd finished them. In fact the waiter tried to take my last satay chicken skewer away from me. He failed.
That said, the food was delicious - the duck crispy and nicely sticky, the red Thai curry king prawns properly cooked. Unfortunately there's nothing you can order to mop up or dredge the sauce with. Maybe bring a straw.
If the waiting staff hadn't been quite so keen to hurry us up (and there was no need since there were plenty of vacant tables and no queue) I would have given them five stars. But we'll go again π
Just had a meal here and it was absolutely delicious! My auntie owns a Thai restaurant so have grown up sampling authentic Thai food and can say that this is both authentic and delicious. Pretty reasonably priced too. Can't believe it has such low Google reviews, the place is obviously very popular with locals and tourists and I'd definitely recommend.
I've eaten here a few times and it's always a good experience. Food is well prepared, fresh and delicious, and comes out very quickly. Prices are reasonable and the location is very convenient close to Waterloo station and the Vaults.
I've never been disappointed with the food, my only complaint would be that the service isn't great. Sometimes it's difficult to get a hold of staff and they are quite short in their service. Efficient, but not super friendly.
Still, a great place for tasty thai food.
Visited here without a booking and they found us a table no problem. The four of us ordered two of the set menus which were good value and consisted of a selection of starters and two mains with rice and veg. Starters arrived within a few minutes and the food was excellent. We had a couple of beers each as well
On summer time you can eat out as they have outside tables. Me and my boyfriend do love this restaurant. ππ₯°π€©π²ππππ€
Had an amazing dinner at Sino Thai! Really authentic Thai food - the vegetarian options were delicious! We tried the Veggie spring rolls, Corn Fritters, Som Tum Salad, Noodle Soup, Panang Curry, Massaman Curry and the Aubergine Krapow - every single thing was so incredible! And the staff were so friendly, this is definitely going to become a regular spot for us!
Food was amazing, portion sizes are huge and taste amazing.
Very well priced for London.
Service was brilliant.
Defiantly will be going back.
