Gem of a pub. Unchanged in what looks like 40 years plus and all the better for it. Reasonable prices and so friendly we were even offered free ham rolls. Brilliant.
Youād struggle to find pubs like this in London today. Decades ago they were all over but now a place like this is a destination pub. Cosy, carpet, friendly, affordableā¦ Iād like to visit again.
A fine establishment, I will be enquiring shortly to the annual membership fee. They not only allow the removal of oneās jacket and mobile phone use but appreciate those that prefer to spend cash money. Feels exclusive.
Nice place to hang for a peace time with your mates. Especially to celebrate team victory after a long game.
