I like this place, it opens till late. Been on the high street for a very long time! Great for when you've been out drinking and you need something to eat. I got the lentil dhal curry with rice so tasty full of flavour..just what I needed. Also very affordable šŸ‘Œ no complaints

As a man who enjoys Indian food, upon finding this shop whilst walking down the road; I thought nothing of it, simply due to the wider range of choices in the area. However, upon deciding to finally visit one day and buying a succulent chicken curry, in which they heated in the store, I was simply mind blown. Never have I tasted a curry so good, the sweet sensation in my mouth was needless to say.. orgasmic. I hadn't expected this. To believe I would visit Maharani, just down the road and buy their food for over Ā£10 when I could be getting much better for a much lower price. The staff are excellent despite seeming very tribal - but then again they are Indians. The shop doesn't look too good, but then again I suppose in India, the shops aren't too fancy either. But at the end of the day, only the food matters, and the food is superb. Thank you my Indian friends.

My friend said, ā€œletā€™s try this place I used to know 20 years ago.ā€ So glad we did! The food was was awesome! We had the meat bread as a starter, really nice! The mains, lamb madras (reallllllly good). However, dish of the century was the chicken Spinach......DIVINE!!!! To top this off, super value for money, authentic and delightful. Looking forward to my return and bringing others to experience the amazing food!

I say I'm indifferent towards it. But really I love it. I mean YES it's a bit oily. YES the portions are a bit rice-heavy. And YES, sometimes you don't want to think about how long the curry's been sitting around. But look, where else are you gonna a quality large lamb spinach whipped up for you in under a minute for Ā£6 on Clapham High Street. Nowhere. There are no curry chains in the UK. This must change. If Rufies doesn't have over 100 stores by 2030 I will eat my hat.

Very delicious and decent prices! We tried 4 large dishes plus the garlic naan and everything was super tasty. Ā£5 - 6 for each dish. Recommended! Limited seating, only 2 tables and no toilet

This is what Indian takeaways used to look like in London during the 70's, 80's, 90's! It brings back great throwback memories from my childhood. Customer service is basic. A classic London Indian experiance where all the decadent oily food is in stainless steel tubs displayed behind glass cabinets and you point to what you want. For a taste of old London check it out :)

My brother told me about his local indian takeaway. Its a tiny canteena/take away. But bon't be fool by the old fashion run down look. I was surpised the curries are tasty and the prices is very budget friendly. The food are pre made & will have to be microwaved, but when you hungry & need a quick dinner can't really go wrong.

A great local Indian takeaway. Rufies has been on Clapham High St for over 20 years, serving great curries from bowls on display behind the glass counter. Don't expect traditional Indian menu items like Chicken Rogan; instead they offer a relatively limited selection, including lamb with spinach, plus sides like Bombay Potato. It's all served immediately, and it's all delicious. You can stay in to eat it, on a couple of tables, or take it home. I've been going for years and years, and it's very addictive! They also now offer delivery via Uber Eats & Deliveroo

Noice place. Very reasonably priced and decent service. Edited for some of the delivery reviews. You are better off going in for a bite as it's more of a cafe, rather than a restaurant.

There aren't many places serving warm sag aloo with rice at 3am. What a cracker
