Stayed at the Lansbury last week. We had a Mezzanine room - lovely experience to wake up to. The lighting from the floor to ceiling window is amazing. The rooms are really clean and to a top spec. I liked the little mobile phones you get.
Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Dinner was great and the buffet breakfast was really good too - I ate so much! The chef bought out fresh fried eggs as soon as I asked for some. They even had high chairs for my baby which I was really pleased with.
It was also really easy to get to Canary Wharf shopping center too.
Such a grand place - especially the lobby. Couldn't recommend it enough.
My partner and I stayed here during the week to use a voucher I had for afternoon tea at another venue; however, staying at this hotel ending up being the main feature of the visit. We stayed in the Octagonal room which has a big "wow" factor, the views were amazing, but so was the room along with it's luxury features. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had to drop our bags off long before check-in and also left them for a number of hours after we checked-out, but this was certainly not an issue for the staff. We decided to have the breakfast after seeing the reviews online and it certainly did not disappoint, the waitress offered hot drinks on a regular basis and the buffet was constantly topped up, so I would recommend this as part of your stay. Overall this was an excellent hotel, great location with wonderful staff and considering all of that it was amazing value for money. If you don't stay here then you will be losing out!
Amazing. The room was beautiful, the staff were incredibly polite, the food in the restaurant was fantastic and we were equally impressed by the dinner as we were the breakfast bar. The location is not central, but we preferred taking public transport a little bit further for the chance to stay in a peaceful neighborhood. We would gladly stay here again if we are ever in London.
We stayed here for a Secret Cinema night at canning town. The hotel is really near the stations and in the morning I walked to Canary Wharf which took about 10 minutes. The hotel building is beautiful, the room was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was great and the chef even came out to ensure we were happy with everything.
The staff were all really lovely and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend or come back again. oh and there's a handy little shop across the road that sells all sorts of things you may have forgotten!! Worth the 5 stars I have given it.
The hotel was excellent, the staff so welcoming.
The atmosphere is so peaceful.
The breakfast was absolutely spot on.
I would recommend this hotel to all, it is a 3 minute walk to the Poplar DLR station which then gets you access to all of London Transport and Underground.
If going to the O2 then this is the hotel to choose IMO.
Parking for the Hotel is use the Indigo Car park on West India Quay, £22 for 24hrs (at time of this review). But you get a £4 reduction on showing your VAT reciept from the Hotel.
The car park is walking distance, 15 mins or just 1 stop to Poplar via the DLR. (Oyster card recommended).
But please do not just take my word for it, search other reviews or better still take a London trip and stay yourself, you will not be disappointed.
A hidden jewel. Unique, modern, historic, friendly, great service, great staff, good location with easy access to tube.
Very pleased with our stay here.very freindly staff and the location is ideal.very good value and would happily recommend
Traditional meets Morden, the rooms are finished with such an elegant touch to it with no space for a compromise, beautifully located, and the staff are second to none.
Amazing hotel & spa, the hotel rooms are elegant with stylish fusion of classy and modern decor, a hidden gem.
Stayed here with my wife for a concert at the O2. Really enjoyed our stay, the room was spotless and had a very high end finish. Location wise it was ideal for the O2, one stop on the tube and a 10min walk. Would without a doubt stay here again.
Excelent hotel facilities with very friendly staff. I love this hotel and I would highly recommend it.
This is an amazing hotel. I was there for 5 nights and everything was great. The room-style, the location, the service. This is a brand new hotel and really a secret at the moment. Stay there if you come to London and you have something to do in the docklands. The DLR Station is around the corner and even if you want to go to central London the connection is great.
We have stayed here a few times now.. it’s very handy for London nights out.. it is very well furnished and has a high quality feel about it.. One might not think of it given its location, that would be a mistake.. the hotel is VERY clean and staff extremely friendly and professional.. I will certainly stay again, I worry though that the prices are starting to rise which may make customers stick to the more established brands.. anyway give it a go, you won’t be disappointed..
I had a lovely stay the room nice an very clean an the staff was very friendly. The meal in the hotel restaurant was lovely. I will be booking here again.
