Just love the lunch box deal which is a good value for money and only costs £5.50 which consists of a side, mains and starter.
The food itself is very delicious. If you happen to be in the area then stop by to this place.
This place is such a bargain! A very filing lunch filled with chinese goodness just for £5. One summer afternoon, I was craving chinese so decided to try this place out and I have no regrets. Although, it is a tiny place mainly suitable for takeaways, there is quite a variety on offer.
The lunch menu is also very simple - you choose your side (either rice or noodles), main (there is plenty to choose from and I got the impression that there was no restriction on how many mains you had as long as it fitted in your lunch box!) and to top it off you can have spring rolls or another starter of your choice. That's it! Nice and quick!
On the day I visited, I opted for the egg fried rice topped off with sweet and sour chicken and spicy chicken curry with two spring rolls. The place was barely closing, so a good sign of a very filling lunch.
I would recommend this place if you are looking for a good meal at a very good price!
I work near Liverpool street, and a colleague introduced that there is a Chinese buffet that is very good. So I went to visit with my colleagues at noon today. It was a small shop with an open kitchen. Looks bright and clean! There are 12 dishes you can choose from. For those who have a Chinese stomach, I feel the taste of my hometown. And the price is very reasonable, a big box costs 7 pounds. It tastes very delicious😋 I highly recommend it to everyone! Thank you for opening this store next to my company. I will visit every day.
missed caifan so got one of their lunch boxes here for £7
best takeaway in central area
Stopped by for quick dinner take out. Ordered Chicken Chiw Mein/noodle and Tofu Salted Pepper Chili. The food was ok and price was rather cheap.
Small Chinese takeaway place near Liverpool Street station. The lunch box is very good for the price (noodles or rice with 3 sides and a starter in a box). Dishes you buy on their own outside weekday lunch hours is also good value for money. The salted pepper and chilly chicken/prawns is my favourite along with Singapore vermicelli noodles/rice. Staff are friendly and we have a quick chat whenever we are here while the food is being freshly prepared by the always-smiling chefs at the back.
Got the lunchbox and chose 3 toppings with spring roll starter too for £6.50. Great value for the delicious food. Lovely staff too. Definitely recommend!!
Sunday night takeaway and feels like the first old school Chinese takeaway, great tender spare ribs, tasty chicken chow main (not greasy) and special curry. Best we've had in years. Only take cash
Quick. Freshly made. Tasty and very substantial portions. Worth walking round the corner for next time you're pondering Wasabi Bento.
Ordered Ho Fan vegetable noodles, with black bean sauce.
Literally THE BEST chicken & sweetcorn soup Iv tasted in all my 7 years in London across all boroughs!
Absolutely love these guys, portion size is great. My special request is always fulfilled. Good arrives pipping hot and full of flavour ❤️❤️❤️❤️
They have a lunch meal deal for £7. A huge portion of rice/noodles with a variety of meat dishes to choose from. It's definitely worth it.

A great little gem in the heart of city for a cheap and tasty takeaway Chinese lunch for £5.50, won’t get anywhere cheap in Liverpool Street. Get a choice of bases (noodles/rice) 3 toppings (sweet & sour/roast pork etc.) and then a starter of veg spring roll or prawn toast.
Cooked to order, so freshly made. Good portion, quick takeaway but can get busy.
This place is great for takeaway. The food was very good. The only weird thing was, we asked for chicken in lemon sauce and ended up with chicken in a pineapple sauce, which was actually really good. I think it might be their sweet and sour chicken. We told them there was an onion allergy, and they actually got our food right! I can't tell you how many other restaurants mess up our food. Definitely worth a try.
