Great Vietnamese food at great prices. Fast service and standard dining atmosphere. Monkfish summer roll tastes special, rich in vietnamese herbal flavour and I personally love it. Crispy pork belly rice is very crispy and flavoursome but a bit too salty to my taste - it goes really well with sriracha sauce if you like a bit of heat. The dried lemongrass chicken vermicelli noodle is nice too, however, my favourite bun noodle is still from BunBunBun.
Really good Vietnamese cafe with fresh and tasty food. We tried Beef Brisket Pho, fried noodles and spring rolls. Everything was really nice and with great value for money.
Cheap & cheerful authentic Vietnamese. Delicious pho, will definitely return. Quick service. Does get busy during the lunchtime rush but I managed to beat it and get a small table on the corner.
I noticed dirty napkins on the tables, hygiene isn’t impeccable but this adds to the no frills charm..
While the outside of the building looks like a regular takeaway, internally the restaurant is well decorated with a clean look.
The food is good value for money though I personally found it a little bland, but they do provide sauces to spice it up.
I love this place so much, I’ve been dining here almost weekly for roughly a year now and I never get bored of it! I am only giving 4 stars as lately I feel it’s lost a bit of its flare - the bean sprout, lime and chilli dish you usually receive with your Phó has decreased in size and doesn’t seem as fresh (might just have Been like that that day) and unfortunately the fresh spring rolls (particularly the ones with tiger prawn - my favourite), have stayed at the same price, yet instead of two “whole” prawns, you get one, butterflied in half - meaning that you don’t even really taste it. You also used to get water brought to your table but now you just have to weasel around the other guests to pick up some water (it isn’t the end of the world but I always appreciated the kind gesture). Generally the flavour of the soup, sauces and rolls is amazing! And for an amazing price (not only compared to London standards). I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a hearty little pick me up after work, when it’s raining or even just as a little treat during the week.
P.s. strongly reccomend the rare beef pho - actually gets to you with rare pieces and u can even get double the beef for £1 more! - and don’t be shy with the siracha sauce by the end of the soup if you’ve never tried it, it really adds a kick
Simply one of the tastiest viet baguette within the area.
try absolutly their Monkfish summer rolls...they are to die for.
Speedy service and great food for a reasonable price! I go quite often and always order the Prawn Lemongrass (delicious and a big portion). You can also BYOB. Beware that the opening times on Google maps are incorrect, I uploaded a picture with the right ones :)
Decelious pho!! Amazing price 7.5£ for three kind of meat is really worth to try pho la special
Great Pho with chicken. Small but cozy place even if they didn't charge me with the card but with the cash.
A lovely restaurant with very oriental tastes of Vietnamese food! I often eat there in weekend and they serve all dishes quickly. They try to keep basic recipes and a simple menu those I like so much 😍 King Prawn Summer Rolls and "Pho" . £15 or maximum£20 is always enough for 2 people
Amazing places to eat Oriental soups! People there definitely know how to make a proper broth and what to add afterwards. I was impressed by the food there!
Seating is limited and it can get a bit busy during lunch hours, but takeaway is available for those on the go.
Prices are moderate and staff is welcoming. Great place overall!
This place is a gem! The food is super nice and reminds me my Vietnam trips. The owners told me they're from Hanoi area. the decoration is not that great but you come for the food and it completely makes you forget the rest!
The Phos are amazing, really tasty broth, the vermicelli noodles are delicious too, really generous portion, I had a couple better Bahnmis but theirs reach my top 3 easily.
and prices are really attractive, specifically for lunch where they do starter + main + drink for £8.
i work nearby so this is my canteen!
Authentic, family-run, generous portions and no frills! The smell of their broth tells you it's been cooking for some good hours. Try their bún bò Huế, gỏi cuốn (summer rolls) and bún thịt nướng (vermicelli + grilled pork) with crispy spring rolls. They keep prices low too, lovely owners from Vietnam!
We had amazing lunch at LA kitchen and it was fabulous Vietnamese food . I would strongly suggest for `` Pho beef , summer spring roll " as i felt i had orgin food back in Vietnam . And its a great news for students as they have free soft drinks!!!!
Yummy fresh rolls. Noodles were tasty. Fried rice was perfect. Even bought some viet coffee filters to replicate the condensed milk coffee. An accidental find. Will be back for more.
Great little Vietnamese café, eat in or takeaway. Vietnamese hot filled rolls and spicy dishes, Pho, fragrant noodle soups, vermicelli, rice boxes; all excellent. Friendly, quick service at reasonable prices. Popular for local workers taking lunch back to the office.
Had a really delicious rare beef Pho. Great customer service.
Can get crowded at lunch time as there is limited seating and up and down stairs. But if you get in early you are in for a treat!
