Came because the sign said "best shakshuka in town". It didn't disappoint. I haven't tried all the shakshuka in town, but this was really good, and great value (<£10 for shakshuka with a coffee).
Had brunch there. The food was amazing! The shashuka was definitely my favourite! Also outdoor seating was really nice and really really lovely staff! Overall a great experience, will definitely be coming back. I 100% recommend
Great little Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant in Islington. We stopped by for a quick break. The hummus - cold and hot servings - is beautifully done, with plenty of spices and splashes of lemon. The restaurant has an easy atmosphere and service is excellent - the owner / manager was warm and we
Fabulous simple food. I've only been here for the menemen, tomatoes, peppers and spices with baked eggs, but it's delicious, so delicate yet filling served with home made bread. A really healthy tasty brunch. Everyone should really come here and try it. It you don't like it you're just wrong.. But y
Very nice home made baklava, good food (eggs royal with generous amount of fish), friendly service. They serve delicious warm bread as a starter with shish. They have fresh juices. Cozy design and calm music. No baby changing facilities.
Small cozy place with good food. Not bad :)
Thank you so much to Ismael and the bartender for being so lovely. The food was good and Ismael really made it for us, he was excellent and really welcoming. Will come again
The shakshuka was egg-cellent, the Turkish Breakfast less so. But outdoor seating was a vibe. Coffee was exceptional. Good value for money will defo be visiting again
Was a busy Saturday night and we were 4 people. The service was amazing and the prices are really nice. The quality of food you bet is worth it. There is also a three meal course for £15.95 - worth trying out. The atmosphere is very nice as well.
Service was very fast & attentive, with some Turkish mezze served at the start of the meal. Had the chicken soup which was delicious (creamy & a bit spicy). Also had the garlic shrimp with mushrooms in the hot starters section & wasn't a big fan of it (overcooked). They offer a takeaway service as
Amazing food! Really enjoyed our visit here. Service was very friendly, portions are huge and the food is absolutely delicious.
Oh so I stopped by to have an egg shakshuka with some halloumi and it was perfect, very balanced and filling. Also, the staff is super friendly and interior is pretty and sooooo cozy, aaaaaaaah...
A really nice and friendly restaurant, the staff are warm and accommodating and really make you feel at home without being intrusive. For the money the food is also excellent with reasonable portions so nobody leaves hungry. Three courses with drinks came to about £30 or you can pick much cheaper f
A favourite Turkish restaurant in Islington which combines good food at a reasonable price. The meat is always tender and the mere is very good.Recommended
We ordered their Turkish breakfast and coffees - food was ok but the latte could be better. It also took some time to get the staff's attention and to get our food.
We had two wraps, both delicious! Great price too and friendly service.
Food here was amazing, wide variety to select from on menu and the restaurant atmosphere relaxing. Staff super friendly and I would definitely recommend to visit here as it is a wonderful experience!! :)
Vegetarian Breakfast...Delish! You won't need to eat for the day once they serve this up to you. I couldn't eat a thing until Monday, the best Sunday brekkie on Upper Street.
