I ordered some tsofi and plantain from here not too long ago, the pepper and shito was delicious, full of flavour as it wasn't too spicy. The tsofi was nice and succulent, however it would have been nice if it had pepper over it or more suya powder. The plantain was not bad. I received good customer service from the waitress.

Good food. Down side is that they dont tell you when they dont have certain food in stock if you order by phone. Its happened to me more than 3 times. Disappointing.

It has been a long time since I last came here. It looks much improved, cleaned and less noisy with loud music. The service was good and professional. Food pricing is reasonable, with goat soup at £6. Nice kelewele (spiced fried plantain) and Guinea fowl (locally known as Akonfɛ). Would recommend.

Hubby ordered the Suya for starters...it was hot but absolutely delicious! I had Fufu, light soup with fish which was lovely. Hubby had Chofi with Fried Yam. That was amazing! There is a station to wash your hands before your meal if you wanted to eat with your hands. Cutlery is provided for those who prefer to use it!

Cannot recommend more highly. The food here is wonderful, really authentic Ghanaian. Really big portions. Afro beats music and imported Ghanaian beers. Wonderful place!

Beautiful food. The jollof rice was cooked to perfection and the chicken was moist and tender. Absolutely wonderful food. Would thoroughly recommend Bongo.

The food was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have never had a bad experience and would gladly recommend it. Unlike some restaurants that I have visited, the standard of the food remains the same. It's a nice and friendly atmosphere. And, it is relatively inexpensive. Definitely worth a try for some delicious Ghanaian cuisine.

We would like to Thank Irene and the team. We use the Bongo Bar to celebrate our dad's birthday . The addition decorations looked first class , with the kente on the tables and all the centre pieces. Made the celebration extra special!! We had a buffer style meal , which was very tasty . Eunice you were very professioand and attentive to us. An excellent experience 😊

The food was great and the ladies who served us were very nice and friendly. I liked the fact that there was somewhere to was our hands before and after eating, and we could take away what we couldn't eat. I would definitely go back to eat there 😊
