I quite liked this place.
It's quite busy, so come in advance with plenty of time to get a table, I think we were lucky and only waited 20 mins for ours for Friday dinner.
The nice thing is that you can wait at the bar which is also a nice area and can get a beer or cocktail while you wait.
The food is very reasonably priced for London.
The portion sizes are standard for ramen and flavours were great.
They appear to have great veggie/vegan options available as well as the meaty ones.
Hakata is one of my favourite ramen place in London. I never miss a chance to have lunch or dinner here if I am in the area! The vibe is amazing, the food is outstanding and the service is fast,l. Any time I come here the staff is wonderful and kind! Highly recommended!
Great food and service!
Visited there a family of 5, mostly vegan or vegetarian. Their menu was clear and he many vegan alternatives.
Service was excellent: attentive, giving good advice when needed but not disturbing.
Food was awesome. We took 3 ramen soups and 2 steamed dough buns. They all were very good - composite flavours and overall feeling health my and fresh.
Totally recommend this place.
The best ramen I’ve had in London, and so reasonably priced. They have AMAZING vegan and non vegan options, including the sides which are also so good! It’s great for a quick lunch time bite, or a sit down dinner with drinks. Such a nice atmosphere, sometimes you have to wait for a table as they don’t take reservations but they’ll always be honest with you about wait times and do their best to get you seated asap. They have a super cool bar downstairs that does great cocktails which is a great place to wait for a table if you need to. It’s honestly my favourite restaurant and always recommend it to both my vegan and non vegan friends!
Went on a hot day and welcomed by refreshing AC and warm staff. The ramen was one of the best I had in London. Only for personal preference I don't think the ginger went so well and would prefer it as a topping aside for customers to add by themselves. Nice ambience as well, will come back

Good selection of vegetarian ramens. I loved a choice you have for both noodles textures and different toppings.
Noodles were cooked to perfection, broth was flavourful but tofu was too thickly battered and batter itself wasn’t quite enjoyable .
This was my first Ramen experience and it did not disappoint. We had their aubergine bao, veggie gyoza, and I had the garlic tofu ramen (forgot the name). All the dishes were just perfect, especially the bao.
Expect some wait as they don’t take reservations. They do have a bar downstairs where I had the old fashioned. It’s a bit overpriced but it was really good nevertheless.
Came here on a whim at peak time mid week for dinner. Waited at the bar downstairs for a table which had some really lovely cocktails.
The chicken Sando is so tasty .
Had a basic pork ramen. Was really tasty broth and the noodles where perfectly cooked. The rice beer was pretty nice to try too.
Great place to eat.
I have been here for a few times. Hakata serves nice ramen and steam guabao.
It’s rare to find a bowl of ramen with an egg for £12 in London.
I first tried kumamoto, which was full of garlic flavor. However I felt the ramen was not salty enough, so I was glad the restaurant gave customers soy sauce, chilly oil and grind sesame to personalize the taste.
Second time I tried the spicy miso, and I’d say the combination was perfect. The spiciness was not burning but warming. My partner and I also ordered the steam guabao for starter. The fried tofu one was so good and the mushroom with soy sauce perfectly gave the bao more flavors.
I also like the idea of having beer with ramen. The beer refreshed my taste after had the rich soup.
3.5/5
For being in London and for the price it's pretty good. We got the Kumamoto and the spicy miso ramen. The chashu had a nice char but was a little dry. The soup for the kumamoto was very thick but wasn't as tasty as we expected.
The Geisha kiss and Gojilla were pretty good and unique.
Overall good ramen, great cocktails/cocktail specials and the bao bun was very delicious.
Only thing that deflated our experience slightly was being served our food well after the 3-4 groups that came in after us were, despite having ordered before they entered. Most had finished their food before ours even came out from the kitchen.
Also would be nice to have water on the table rather than having to ask for it, but that might just be my personal preference.
Overall food was good enough that we would go back.
One of the best ramens in London, great well-seasoned broth with rich pork flavour. Nice noodles, and absolutely great toppings, each chashu pork piece is individually seared, egg is a soft umami bomb and overall high attention to detail. Highly recommend!
Delicious ramen and starters (we loved the aubergine bun!). The service was excellent and proactive, they were very attentive to my pregnant wife and offered us a different table to be more comfortable (without us even having to ask). We’ll be back for more!
Friday evening, walk-in only, we were party pf 5 so had to wait - but all worth. Amazing ramen, vegetarian, pork free and vegan options. Very reasonably priced. Good cocktails down stairs. My to go place in this part of town.
I ordered the vegetarian spicy miso ramen with mushrooms, and it was delicious. I got there a few minutes after they opened for the day, and they were happy to seat a solo diner. It started to get busy just as I was leaving. The service was swift and friendly. I recommend this place!
Amazing ramen. Had tonkatsu and shoyu ramen was delicious. The prawn gyoza was perfect. The staff are friendly and great service. It has a nice ambience.
This location is conveniently located in bermondsey which for me was even better since I was staying in that area which is also near Tower Bridge. Service was good and they were fast as I needed to eat and head to the Beyonce concert. They were fast, delish and the food was good
