Lovely pub, really good atmosphere, staff were friendly and food superb, would definitely recommend. We had Sunday lunch, my daughters had the roast beef and I had beef Bourguignon we all cleaned our plates �
Enjoyed a lovely family lunch to celebrate 3 birthdays, all opted for the yummy burger except for one liver, bacon & bubble+squeak. Attentive staff, fab food, and the 2year old was particularly impressed with his special side order of peas! Definitely recommend, thank you!
Finally made it to The Prince Regent last night after many years of intending to visit on my trips back to the U.K. What a fabulous place! A proper English pub with a great beer selection, a relaxed feel and delicious food. I had the pie of the day with mash and peas, which was everything you'd want it to be. Lovely helpful staff too. Can't wait to come again!
Quite possibly the best pub roast I’ve ever eaten beef cooked perfect the nicest tasting crispy on the outside soft on the inside potatoes and all the yummy trimmings just what the doctor ordered on a cold Sunday loved it �
Wonderful brunch on Saturday morning with the whole family. Fluffy pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup for the kids and amazing Eggs Benedict with perfect hollandaise for me. Libby, my waitress was lovely and really kind to the kids, who were kept entertained with the crayons and colouring sheets provided. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy a family outing. Fantastic! Would definitely recommend.
The food is absurdly delicious, without pretence and makes me feel like I am eating in a hidden 1star restaraunt in France. After eating my way through the menu over the past couple of years I asked about the chef and discovered that of course Manu had trained and worked with Raymond Blanc for ages.

My favourite local! Monday is 2 courses for £11 and the main was genuinely amazing. The chief definitely knows what he is doing! Throughout the pub they have big!! tables, not the best for couples to share a quite drink/meal but thats the only thing I'd change. Chop chop guys, read this review and make it happen lol

We'd been to the Prince Regent once or twice before for drinks but never eaten adn have always wanted to give it a try as it is a nice old pub, bright, airy, lots of space and always a good atmosphere inside.
Met up with some friends on this given sunday for a catch up over a roast and beers.
We ordered 3 x roast beefs (£16) and 1 roast chicken (£12) was served pretty promptly considering how busy they were.
All tasted well, nice moist slices of beef, good roast pots, spiced red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, and oddly some bok choi, maybe it was asian fusion sunday.
Only thing to whinge about were the portions for the price, a little to small for a sunday roast or maybe I need to go on a diet...
All in all was a good afternoon, but mainly for the friends than the pub.
The kitchen is high quality, best burger and wedges around for sure. Good wine too. Always a relaxing, fun atmosphere with friendly staff.

Royal pub grub in Herne Hill. The wake up of Herne Hill seemed to start with the redo of the Prince Regent. Now it is only one of the hubs in this area, although it started the trend. Great for a midweek dinner out or a few pints stretching to a saturday dinner after the Lido. Packed wuth drinkers hanging off the walls in the summer sun.
Good local pub - well-located by Brockwell Park, with charming wood-panelled interior. Drinks can be on the expensive side for the area, but food is better value (particularly on the many days of the week they have a promotion of some kind on).
Booked big table in front to the big screen. Surely the best screen in South London in terms of having also having quality food and drink. Landlord is a star as well - always keen to ensure everything is top draw. Best pub in this area

Probably the best Sunday roast in Herne Hill. Lovely selection of wine, good atmosphere, delicious veggie roast only slightly marred by staff seeming to air their differences in public!

Decent pub on Dulwich Road opposite Brockwell Lido. Two cask beers on handpump when I last visited. Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered.
Lovley Pub away from any Tourism. Delicious food and serval drinks make an invitation to stay and enjoy. Very friendly staff. Buisy but calm, clean and cosy. Prices in middle and worth for everything. A place to spend time and calm down. CU Guys.
Good spot with very friendly and welcoming staff. Wide selection of beverages available. Enjoyed a few drinks in the sun.

Ok, so when I was with my friend I smelled a familiar smell of something that not be smoked around here I sat down and the Servant staff Natalia told me and my friend that if we want him to smoke something a bit cheeky around her that is not allowed.
At first, I was quite angry at the fact that she had said this and I was thinking is it because I'm black that you are saying this. After all, I know for a fact that the person that was smoking that's I smelt previously was coming from somebody that was white.
From that point I was determined to only have one drink and move on however it was comfortable and nice to sit down and have a drink and chill and talk with my mate so then I decided to have another drink, after further watching Natalia work around the area I notice that she may have said something of the same calibre to another two new arrivals.
I think she is a good server I just feel that she might only be saying it to people that she may suspect does the thing that she suspected of myself and my friend at the time maybe am wrong..... I think if she says the thing that she said to me to everybody, that would be fine.
Food, as always, amazing! Vince is a star behind the bar.
It's a pub, nice enough. Would go here again if I am in the neighborhood.
