Great pub for grabbing a quick drink before getting on the train. Lots of rooms and large amount of outdoor seating. Plus you can get plastic glass and drink outside the station. Perfect for those summer evenings.

My first experience in a British pub and it was a great one. The Brits make some amazing beer that made me realize how awful American beer is by comparison. Pubs are a great and uniquely British experience that everyone should experience at least once while visiting. The fish and chips and steak ale pie were amazing!

*IDEAL SPORTS BAR* If you have plans to watch sports and hang out with friends . Without doubt the best place in Richmond . Fantastic service with extremely kind staff and top quality food . We frequently visited for many live sports and each time the place gets better . Do try their bespoken pie / burgers . Hope the place continue to do well and maintain their quality . Cheers to the management . Good luck with your visits 😊

Saw the rugby world cup quarter finals there. Good atmosphere. TV screens to watch sport. Reasonable prices . Pub just outside Liverpool st station. Cannot comment on food, hence no stars.

Great location near the station. Been coming here for a little while. In the winter pub has outside heaters for the tables nearby. Also during the championship where most local pubs were packed full. After 4 pubs and being turned down. My friend and I were able to have a couple of pints and found a good spot to watch the match. Thanks Railway for not letting me down. Cheers

Met a friend for lunch and quite convenient as we both travel into Liverpool Street. The food was very nice and great to see they were supporting English Wines by having Chapel down avaliable. I had reserved a Table but not sure that it was necessary. The only downside were the height of the Tables and Stools as my friend is only 5ft and all tables were the same.

A very welcoming pub for me and the family. The service was exceptional with lovely bar staff. The manager Justin was particularly welcoming with his hosting. Would recommend for anyone in the local area.

The staff were brilliant when I was in back in the summer but I have to say I'm a bit nostalgic - I'm describing my leaving do in 1990 from wood Mac or County as it was called back then. I think it this was the year Marju never won the guineas and I broke the record for a Thursday night upstairs when we spent over £2000. That would be a bad lunchtime these days but what a great bar. I'd been working with a great crew in London around the corner in broadgate and I was returning north having moved the work successfully south. It was a brilliant night and I still like to pop in every time I'm in the area. Great memories and I'm always grateful to the excellent staff.

Didn't eat, so I can't comment... but good selection of snacks. Played darts and had a few pints - a nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

Nice pub, just outside the station entrance. Food was good. I had fish and chips. Has a large outdoor area for when the summer comes.

Can't recommend this place highly enough, great vibe in the place, the barman Owen and other staff were really friendly and overall really nice. The drinks we had were was great really nice and smooth (the Green King 'Flint Eye Dry Hopped Lager - bonus between 4 and 7 was 2for1!), and food, we had the Chicken Sharer, and the loaded nachos, was some of the nicest food I've ever eaten. 5 out of 5 stars.

It's an old style pub in the middle of London. It becomes the meet up point when meeting old friends... And I'm always early, so I have to have 1 or 2 pints. Good place for good beer.

Good beer selection and fast service. Really enjoyed the outside tables, however you'll probably need to wait for a bit until the table gets cleaned from the previous customers. It was hard to find a table outside as well, so you will need a bit of luck also.
