The Coronet - London - Photo album

I didn't eat on this visit, but I did enjoy a Champions ale by Twickenham. I was really impressed with the art deco building inside and out. I was told by a customer that this one may be closing? Hopefully, it doesn't close. Lauren is a keen member of staff and very polite. Very reasonable prices 👌
This old cinema that was saved and turned into a bar is vast inside. Seating all around a central console the lighting is difficult and can seem gloomy in the evening - but went there today for the large breakfast, and unlimited coffee for a price that’s hard to beat. Yet in the day time it was more
Our local Spoons, we've been here about six times since moving to the area and we've never been disappointed. The chap with the piercing just below their lip went above and beyond to give us excellent service today, thank you.
Fantastic service from Paula. The decor of the whole building was superb, loved how sympathetically the pub had been refurbished. I was with my mother-in-law who was last in the building when it was a cinema back in 1950 😯🤯. Brilliant food and atmosphere.
Very spacious bar! It's an old cinema, so it's very stylish, clean, organized, spacious and cheap! Get a pint of beer for £2.50. Easily reachable by metro.
When I was a kid, my parents would always bring me to The Coronet for dinner. The food and the atmosphere were always so welcoming and I had the best time. It's still just as great now as it was then, with some of the most beautiful ladies serving in London! They have an amazing pub garden too.
I haven’t been to this whetherspoon in awhile, but todays visit is a mixed review. The building itself is old and glorious but it’s in need of repair. It was clear that the bar staff were understaffed but Joshua served us and he was calm and collected. Lily was fabulous! She delivered our food and c
Friendly staff and cheap drinks in a pub that used to be a cinema. It is pretty cavernous so you should be able to find a seat without a problem. The coffee isn't bad and it's bottomless so you could while away an afternoon quite easily without drinking any alcohol.
Quality Wetherspoon’s with a hefty aura present from front door to back - its breathes a typical British pub ambience - with the incredible film memorabilia on the walls - laced with amazing nostalgic history remaining from the Savoy cinema🎥era - this boozer forms a very important social hub for the
Nice pub. Food was tasty and well cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice big area, can get drafty by the doors but otherwise very nice
The pub atmosphere was nice. I love the design and layout of the pub, but the food was overcooked. I had fish and chips with garden peas. Very dry. I also ordered a Shandy Bud light, but it tasted just like beer with no lemonade. However, I did go back and asked for more lemonade which they obliged
#46 in my Wetherspoons quest, popped in only for a drink on this occasion. An awesome building, roomy and again busy. Well done rescuing another building. No trains today so had to get the bus replacement back to Hackney.
A sad day when found out this magnificent piece of history is closing. I dont know how to save it... the devor and atmosphere is of a community... when you walk in people actually chat .. prives are still good for 2023.. please dont sell it off... this is a meeting place plus if you love films and
Visited quite a few times while visiting from Devon, due to my family all Arsenal supporters and I'm the Black Sheep ⚒️⚒️⚒️, I find it a lovely busy pub even when there are no matches on. It's a shame it's on the cards to be closed! I do hope it's not as on a match day the place is packed solid but
My only complaint is that every menu you picked up was covered in sticky drink spills. For the cost, the food is ok, but I think the hygiene standards are slipping such as grubby seating and dirty menu cards, etc.
