Nice café inside M&S (1st floor) to relax in with decent coffee and food at fair prices. The coffee and cake selections are great all being M&S produce which I find is much better quality taste wise. The new brunch menu and standard all day food menu have a nice range of options for you to choose from. We had the Eggs Benedict which was good, maybe a little too tangy on the hollandaise and the muffin was served cold, but overall not bad. The fried chicken sandwich which was unfortunately quite dry but the flavour was there. We've had other dishes from the menu before (like the jacket potato, fish finger sandwich and chicken fajita wrap which are all great) so I think the cooking times of these new dishes just need a bit of work as it was a bit busy when we went so maybe they were just trying to rush the dishes out. The café itself is simple and a nice place to just sit and chat, the staff have all been very friendly each time I've visited and the service is usually pretty efficient.
