Came in after driving past many of times,was pleasantly surprised,absolutely love the new decor, and the bird seed dispensers so cozy and lovely atmosphere,drinks are really reasonably priced,bar staff so friendly and helpful,I chose the quarter chicken with garlic mash,was amazed,so tasty and great portion sizes too,other half had the beef burger and sweet potato fries,he said it was the best he's had,food prices was good too! Also decided to read through the reviews,came across most of them saying drinks was far to pricy,I actually found them cheaper than most places we've been,people want quality,yet don't want to pay the price,will certainly be returning,amazing food,place,staff and atmosphere,well done to you all,thanks for a wonderful chilled out night
I visited The Birds last weekend, just looking for somewhere to have a few drinks and a bite to eat. I thought the space was great and there was a really friendly atmosphere. Good selection of beers and wines, as well as knowledgeable staff who were happy to recommend when I wasn't sure what to go for drink wise. Roasts were on the menu given it was a Sunday, so I went for the beef. Great portion size and really tasty. Overall, a lovely evening.
Great pub in Leytonstone. Good selection of craft ales. My fave being mango flavoured. Good atmosphere and some cracking tunes being played. Also had street fighter on arcade machine. Always a winner
We had a party in the upstairs of The Birds and were really impressed with the space and also how wonderfully accommodating the staff at the pub were. Staff were really supportive and friendly from the communication when booking all the way to collecting some of our belongings the next morning. The party food went down really well and we had a fantastic time. I would wholeheartedly recommend the venue if you were planning a party! Thank you to the team at The Birds! A big thank you to Aaleeyah and her colleague who were really helpful and great fun behind the bar!
Visited on a Friday evening two or 3 weeks ago (tallish chap with a beard seemed to be duty manager); really enjoyed the vibe throughout, varied selection of pales and decent options for others. The two bar staff working were chatty and helpful. Everything spot on for me on this visit, thanks guys! 👌
Great experience last week at the Birds. Food was fantastic I have to say with kitchen being run by the guys from Kotch Pizza down the road. Delighted to see a good selection of quality beers too served the way they should be. I will be back!
A most fine drinking emporium, plenty of choice from the keg and some cider on hand pumps for company. A simple but varied pub menu, good value. A very enjoyable drink.
Thank you to all the staff at The Birds pub! We hired the function from for my son’s birthday party and you all made it very special. The room was set up perfectly, it was clean and decorated beautifully. The food was delicious and the timings were spot on. I cannot recommend this venue enough.
Only popped in for a quick drink ,but this big pub has a nice atmosphere, seems very community based ,with a big table laid out for games for children .The TV screens were on showing various birds in there habitat. They do Food at well
Easy to find, the food was great, offered a wide range to suit all kinds of diets and the service was also very good. The function suite where I was for my brother's wedding reception had plenty of windows to allow it to be light and airy, also plenty big enough to hold all of the revellers!
Stopped in for a lunch time pint, proper old fashioned pub, great beers on tap and excellent service. Would recommend defo want to visit again in evening.
We had our wedding celebrant ceremony and reception at The Birds pub, it was absolutely fantastic! The team that helped on the day were brilliant, super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them! And Harrison was great in the run up helping with planning. Thanks so much for a great day!
