A very pleasant experience. We stayed for two nights.
The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. The evening meals were outstanding, some of the best I've ever had. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of staff on hand to supply tea and coffee. The bar has a well stocked range of alcohol and the staff are great.
We had a down stairs room with a great view of Blackheath, the room was a good size and spotless. The bathroom was clean and very spacious.
I had no trouble with parking as they have 2 car parks with plenty of spaces.
All in all a great family run hotel.
We will definitely be coming back.

Sehr schönes Hotel - mit viel Stil liebevoll eingerichtet! Sehr aufmerksame, höfliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Tolle Lage - sehr gute Bus- und Zug-Anbindung an die Innenstadt von London. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Schön eingerichtete Zimmer - wir hatten ein Dreibett-Zimmer. Auch preislich sehr gut. Fazit ... Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ins Clarendon Hotel !
Being regular visitors to London for work purposes a colleague and I always stay at the Clarendon, it's a good hotel in a great location. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is very good value for money (albeit the single rooms are a little compact for my liking)
The food is very good with a wide selection and the breakfast buffet is perfect to set you up for the day.
On a recent visit we had to unexpectedly check out a day earlier than planned but past the 10 30 am deadline.. Having paid in advance I thought it would be too late for a refund but chanced my arm and asked the question and to my surprise received the money back for the last night's stay �

Had our clubs dinner dance here, the staff were excellent as was the food, everyone was polite and friendly and we had a great night. Top marks!

We had our wedding day here on 26th May 2018. Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Julie was great during the run up and Jasmin worked so hard for us during the day. Everything was set up for us the way we wanted it. The food was lovely. All our guest had the most amazing day. Thank you all so much for all your hard during our day �
The staff is very nice! She is a slim tall miss (I don’t get a chance to know her name but there are only 2 ladies work today on 23rd Oct 2023, the taller lady). She greeted me with Happy Birthday on my arrival. That made my day!! In fact, I was having a spa before the afternoon tea, the spa is also great. The people at Spa didn’t notice my birthday for sure (I wouldn’t expect that), but I was so surprised that the Meridian Lounge knows! :) I am so happy!!
The food is delicious but not exceptional. I have had better afternoon tea treats. The scone here is tiny, the cream is even bigger 😅 However, the service is exceptional. It has been very busy day on Monday, but the staff still delivered the service amazingly! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This place has an amazing clean aesthetic, the service was swift, really nice selection of teas available, and the pastries and sandwiches seem to have seasonal themes. Overall a nice way to spend an afternoon.
The service was really the best of the best. The staff are so wonderful - thank you to Ganesh, Janai, Imani, Navya. They made my engagement lunch really wonderful by being so helpful, courteous and just generally so kind. The afternoon tea was already really nice. Would definitely recommend.
Fabulous afternoon tea and a really lovely place to sit away for... Well 90 minutes as that's what the booking said! Although I doubt you would be kicked for over staying.
Not as big a selection of teas as some central London tea houses but also nowhere near as expensive. The selection they did have was spot on and well brewed.
The scones are some of the best I've ever had. Perfect texture, softness and taste. Next time I may ask to replace all my cakes with scones.
They happily substituted our beef sandwich for a veggie option too. Really great service.
I personally believe that a hotel’s sense of luxury begins not with their facilities but with their staff.
And this is exactly what we experienced when we spent an afternoon at the Meridian Lounge. There was a little confusion with our orders (largely our fault), but Sumeya and Ganesh went above and beyond to immediately rectify the issue. Such excellent customer service! They are certainly assets to the hotel and I can not praise them enough. Will definitely be coming back again and again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really lovely place to have afternoon tea. Food was excellent and the staff were even better. Made my Mum's birthday all the more special when they brought out a treat.
Fantastic afternoon tea served. Chilled atmosphere and not rushed at all. Lovely East India tea range served and coffee with a kick!
Staff recongnised that this was not my first visit here and for sure it will not be my last.

We went for Champagne Afternoon Tea and it was lovely. I even got to take home some cakes. We also got to enjoy the spa and it was so relaxing. I also got a massage and it was heaven.

Great atmosphere, l felt very welcomed by the great staff, they would do everything to make you feel special, always attentive. The atmosphere is warm and the champagne afternoon tea was amazing. The vanilla tea was superb. Definitely will come back
2 of my friends and I decided to go for an afternoon tea and celebrate our babies that would be coming to this world in a few months. We have been looked after by Imani and Soumaya with the upmost professionalism but most importantly with kindness and attention. They honestly made our afternoon amazing and these women should be rewarded for their work. The food wasn’t bad, we definitely preferred the salty part more than the cakes ( except the yuzu chocolate mousse that was divine) also the tea was delicious. We would definitely come back with our babies next year
Took my partner here for his birthday and we had a wonderful time. Our server Jozsef was friendly and attentive making us feel very welcomed. We received excellent recommendations for tea (I am not the most decisive when it comes to ordering!). The white apricot tea was immense and so was the food. Beautifully crafted sweet treats and warm scones. My favourite sandwich was the prawn cocktail in a yorkshire pudding. My partner loved the artisan mince pie. An experience new to me was that the tea arrived already brewed. Enjoyed not having to stare at an egg timer! Will definitely visit again.
Relaxing place. I have been here couple times. Service is great. I like East India company tea which is served.
Afternoon tea was only ok for me, but the service and staff made up for the lackluster tea offerings.
Absolutely lovely experience, accommodating even for a toddler too. Highly recommend.
