The food is brilliant - fresh and comforting - and the atmosphere is cosy in a gently kitschy way, with tinkly Vietnamese pop ballads and indoor plants and warm, dim lighting. Go! It’s lovely! The thought of going back is lowkey getting me through lockdown!1!

This restaurant has very authentic and delicious Vietnamese food. We had the spring rolls which were crispy and tasty, the sesame toast which was crunchy and delicious. We also had the beef noodle soup, which the broth was incredibly rich and fragrant as well as the banh xeo pancakes which had lots of fresh delicious vegetables. The service was also great as the waiters and waitresses are both attentive and friendly. Thank you for having us!

I didn’t have much expectations of the place but it was pretty good! I felt the Bun Bo Hue deserved a 4 star, but the Bun Cha was a little lacking. I really enjoyed my Bun Bo Hue. The broth was wholesome and rich with flavour (without the cloying sweetness of MSG) the bun (round thin rice noodles) were smooth and silky (a lil chewy but all good) the beef was unfortunately over cooked which was the only negative. But I happily slurped the noodles with the crunchy bean sprouts with shreds of mint that really lifted the whole flavour of the broth. We also had the Bun Cha Sa Chay (vegetarian noodle salad) which was ok but could do with more veggies and herbs rather than the copious amount of noodles. Service was efficient and fuss free. They were very friendly and the waitress chatted with me a little about Vietnam. Simple ambiance, tables well spaced enough to not overhear other people’s conversations.

Probably one of the best Vietnamese I have came across in Europe. Absolutely amazing dishes. Even the duck is incredible. Delicious prepared and quality products. Staff is friendly and quick service. Take away is delicious too. Good wine selection as well. Really enjoy coming here and can recommend for sure

As a foodie, I like to try new restaurants. However, there are some that draw me back due to their exceptional food. Khoai Cafe is a place that draws me back and has recently extended their already delicious menu with amazing vegan and vegetarian dishes, and with a vegetarian partner, they are a brilliant sight. On our latest visit, we started off with the fried aubergine. It was a generous portion and deliciously seasoned with garlic and chilli. For my main, I went with the pho chay noodle soup with tofu. It was a large portion of beautiful broth, noodles, and lots of tofu. There were also extra bean sprouts, chills, lemon, and mint, which were delicious when added. My partner went for the buh chay with tofu. It was a generous portion and topped with a tasty sauce. She enjoyed it so much that she finished it before me (a first!) All finished off with a nice crisp Vietnamese beer. Highly recommended!

The food is amazing, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is so pleasant and welcoming. I discovery this place more than 3 years ago and since then, I can't stop trying its food. I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants but in my opinion, this is definitely one of the best in London! I loveeee it!

The best beef pho we have a had in a very long time, actually the best we’ve ever had and if we could we’d have it everyday we would- the richness of the beef broth was phenomenal. Absolutely delicious, authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The service over the phone was very kind and understanding, absolutely recommend 10/10

We are residents of Crouch End and this amazing restaurant is easily up there, if not the best we have eaten in. The staff are so welcoming and recommended great choices. We spoke with the owner who is such a lovely guy, and he has so much passion for his food. And rightly so as it is delicious! He gave us some great recommendations of what to eat. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, and the interior is very nice and comfortable. My partner ordered BÚN SẢ CHAY with beef and I had the Crispy Egg Noodles Stir-Fried with mixed vegetables with Tofu. We both rated our meals as 10/10. I can't express how lovely the food was. Also, the beers (We had one from South Vietnam and the other from North Vietnam) and were lovely. We were also given table water which I think is always a nice touch. Be coming back to eat here soon!

Like most places in Crouch End, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but this was well worth the visit. Delicious dishes that transported me back decades to the last time I was in Vietnam. The service was charming, and the food came relatively quickly. Overall it was a most pleasant experience. Can't wait to go again.

My new favourite place in Crouch End! The mango salad was absolutely perfect (and spicy) and the fried fish was the best I've had (and I've been to Vietnam). Service was excellent. We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, a beer and a tea, paid £56 including tip
