Recall a childhood memory. Sunday afternoon, church done some hours ago and you and your siblings been playing out. The house is clean, the yard is swept and gospel music is reigning supreme. Your mom call out your name saying "come your dinner is ready" and if you know, Sunday dinner is the one not
Yes yes yes, delicious, freshly baked, good price. Staff are very friendly unlike the other ones nearby where you feel like you’re on that episode of Seinfeld… you know l, the soup one
Great St+ Lucian bakery, in the heart of Hackney. Lovely food,, they also serve smiles for free.

Went in today they were already closed and still served me! The 2 men I didn’t get their names were so lovely! Amazing customer service and great tasting patties the best I’ve had in a long time, I would highly recommend rainbow bakery you won’t be disappointed
Freshly made Easter bun every day of the year. Even told me where I could get some proper processed cheese! They’re a super lovely, friendly bunch and will go out of their way to help you out. Bun is Bishop Rose approved, so much so that the HTB spice bun didn’t even get a look in.
Offering some of the best Caribbean breads, buns and cakes. This bakery also offers hot food and drink for takeaway lunch and snack options. Simply an institution in the area. Get those Easter and Christmas orders in early to be sure you don't miss out.
I walked past for several years even though I knew customers. I read a review which I decided to put to the test. I had the red bean soup, which was excellent as were the bread rolls. This was genuine West Indian taste. I have been back since and will do so again.
A work colleague made the mistake of introducing me to their patties, then we started to “order” them through her, until I found out it was around the corner from Dalston Junction station. Although I tend to order the same things from them, there are so many things I haven’t gotten around to trying
The most delicious Beef Patties! Perfectly spiced, tender meat, great crust. We love to come here for patties, but I always get some other treats as well and they’re delicious. Super- friendly staff.

Friendly, welcoming staff. I was nicely introduced to their treats, I got some and wasn't disappointed. All delicious and unique. Too sad the bakery is far from my usual routes, but for sure, it's worth a visit.
Thought I’d give this place a try. Service and quality 10/10. If you’re a homesick lucian, the chicken roti and saltfish and bakes is a must.
Food is amazing, we visit after every appointment at Homerton
Friendly staff who don’t mind if you know nothing about Soul Food. Tried the patties before which have a nice kick. This time went for the meat loaf-incredible. Decent value for money too. Will return the next time I’m in Dalston.
In all my years living on this side of London, today was my first visit. I only ordered a cornmeal porridge, but was instantly transported back to my childhood days. Generous portions and explosive flavours. The staff are very friendly and I even got a free wholemeal bread roll, just for enquiring a
