This was my first visit and I had only just found out about this place a week before I booked. I went with a friend and she was as impressed as I was with EVERYTHING! It was a positive and pleasurable experience and I can’t wait to go again. Ola was our server and he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the dishes. Everything we ate was tasty and authentic.

The food was nice in this place but could be better. We ordered the mixed grill platter and it was mixed in terms of quality - the chicken and lamb chops were tasty but the beef and some of the other proteins were over cooked or too salty. The jollof rice was pretty bad, the cassava fries were undercooked and the cocktails were pretty and tasty. I’ll say that the ambience and service were great so I’d return. Price point could be better though.

I had a great time at Stork Mayfair. They offer a fantastic selection of traditional African cuisine. The food was impeccably presented and tasted delicious. The staff were exceedingly accommodating and friendly, and the manager/host, Wally did an exceptional job in making us feel welcome and taking care of us throughout the evening. I would wholeheartedly recommend Stork to anyone seeking a great restaurant in Central London.

Second visit so tried different stuff and guess what? It was even better. The lamb paired with fufu was a delight and the cocktails were assured, refreshing, innocent-looking but deadly. Friendly and efficient service made my birthday guest feel extra special. Have added that extra star. Please keep up the good work

Beautiful environment, very well curated. The atmosphere is amazing, it feels like a private club. The food was fantastic and our waiter Ola made it an exceptional experience. Highly recommended, we will surely come back 👏

Came here for a Sunday afternoon meal with the family. I must admit I was nervous as was dining with a toddler and was nervous how this’ll affect other diners so I called in advance to check on child seat and was told this was available. I made a booking and we arrived for the lunchtime slot at 1pm confident we had a max of 2 hours which will be sufficient. The set menu available included a varied range of African dishes mostly Nigerian and Ghanaian but familiar nonetheless which made it easy to make a selection. We had a mix of main, staters and side dishes but asked for them to arrive at the same time as not having a kids menu meant we ordered them a side or starter meal because of portion sizes. The meal was delicious and the music played was good for an enjoyable vibe. I asked for some assistance with making a cocktail choice as there was plenty to choose from. The only thing is I didn’t notice a changing area for babies when I went to the women’s toilet. I was walking with the child and asked for toilet directions so can’t imagine they thought I wouldn’t need a changing area when they pointed to the toilet facility for male and female. We didn’t get any dessert as too full from the meal but next time I’ll be sure to enjoy this.

I celebrated my birthday at Stork and it really was the icing on the cake. From the time we entered, to when we left, the service was impeccable. The food and cocktails were divine. I will definitely recommend and cannot wait to return in the near future.

It's been a long time coming, almost 4 years but we made it!!! Stork Mayfair - to satisfy your fine dining African cravings. For Starter, we ordered the jerk chicken wings with spicy mayo. Please order this and get 2 portions. That spicy mayo dip is amazing. The jerk chicken has what I call satisfying spicy heat which still retains the flavours. The fish and yam cakes were okay with a very nice dip to compliment it. The Chicken suya main wasn't anything special, but the lamb cutlets was well seasoned with some nice bed of onions. Mac and cheese side was just okay but this allowed the jollof rice to shine. The jollof rice is top shelf quality. Not greasy and giving that party jollof smoky flavour. Again, order 2 portion at the bare minimum. The cocktails are nice and stronggggg so beware. The African heat one is a must try. The star of the show was the dessert, the Malva pudding. Sweetness, texture, temperature, everything just worked. Apparently, there's a vibe in the restaurant late into the night on the weekends. Service overall was good except for the dessert which was worth the wait. The restaurant wasn't too busy as well so point to note. Very good dining experience. It's nice to see good African cuisine with good presentation but not that it comes at a high cost. You are in Mayfair. Would definitely go back and in a group.

I’m really proud to experience such a high level of African cuisine, this place deserves stars if they don’t have it already. The only reason I give it 4 stars overall is because it is quite overpriced but at the end of the day, it’s Mayfair, so reasonable for the area it’s based in. The atmosphere is PERFECT for a date night, very intimate and seductive. The chicken suya is 10/10, would recommend, the flavours are so good. The jollof rice was perfectly spiced for most taste levels and well seasoned too. Another reason I took away the star is because the dessert was not good. I wish I tried something else, it was very disappointing to be honest but I can overlook it because everything else was great.

Ordered way too much food, but the leftovers the next day were the best!! The food here was much better than I expected, a great variety of land, sea and veggie dishes. A perfect date night spot
