There are so many different but interesting non-food items on display. There is a lovely lady serving and preparing sandwiches with great care. Card payments and toilets are available. The balcony has small plastic houses for toddlers that they loved. Seating available inside and outside.

Nice place to drop in for a coffee and a snack when walking the dog. I had an excellent bacon sandwich and Charlie got a couple of dog biscuits. Nice people, nice business.

I have been coming here for many years. The cafe owner knows everyone and remembers my food likes and dislikes and my children when babies. Now they are adults. So serving the public for many years..

Best park cafe in the area by a mile. Louise and her team are friendly and are super welcoming to everyone who steps in, it feels like home from home. They do great toasties and other hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks including a very indulgent hot chocolate with cream and a choice of toppings. Lots of toys, snacks and ice creams are on sale including some really premium pure fruit ice lollies. Love it there!

Great park to take a stroll, the public toilets could do with a bit of more cleaning.

A feast for the eyes. Watched children eyes just light up when they walked in. The owner has a energy that engaged the adults and children alike.

Last time we went friendly service this time decidedly cool. Same staff. Not cheap but pleasant cool interior. Not fair to blame cafe for smelly toilets as I think they are Council.

Such a beautiful park in the middle of a big city! Paths, forests and lake were always clean. I used the exercise area every day. Thoroughly enjoyed my walks there.

Nice park with large lake and well maintained paths suitable for childrens bikes, prams, pushchairs and wheelchairs. Good cafe for teas, coffees, hot chocolate, ice creams and snacks with good play equipment for young children. Separate play area for older kids & and wooded area with climbing structures.

Love the cafe at Grovelands been using this place for years now , always friendly staff and lots of choice of food and drinks or ice cream . Also can buy duck feed for the lake which children love as have brought many bags my self . Lovely play houses out side . Can sit out side on the deck area for a quite drink . Would recommend a tea or coffee or a ice cream if you have a walk around the lake .

Update: my last visit was so different. Very friendly! The staff seem so miserable whenever I've been in. They have the drinks fridge oddly placed so you have to walk into what seems like the staff space, behind the ice cream counter.
