I was very impressed by the food portions and that they are the only fish and chips in the area to incorporate Gluten Free fish!!! Also, I highly recommend to anyone with the Barnet & Enfield area to try there delicious Haddock.
Great fish and chips... but they also do pies, kebabs and other stuff. I frequented this place regularly when I was a student at MDX over 17 years ago... and have been back time after time, year after year. They'd have full marks if they were as good as they were back in the day but I find they are a bit inconsistent now. If you go at the right times, the fish and chips are perfect.(most chippies don't do too well towards the end of their shift or just after opening) Not too bothered with the other stuff, for there are much better kebab shops etc. in North London, however; for fish and chips, they are up there with the best when they're on form.
You will not find better chippy spare ribs than this place. They use plenty of spice which gives them a delicious flavour. I always add vinegar, both the malt and onion, it’s all simply divine together. Portion size is good. Always friendly as well. The only place to get your chippy spare ribs if you want the best.
The quality of fish and chips and portion size are great. Serving staff are lovely and efficient. I'm three minutes from the shop so need a lot of willpower to resist going in there all the time.
This is my first time I ever tried this fish and chips shop The chips and the beef half pounder burger was really nice with cheese slice and onions with burger sauce I really enjoyed it so much that I be visiting again in the future thanks for the nice tasting meal

Great fish and chips along with other offerings. Often freshly cooked and/or cooked once ordered. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Nice chippy. Did my haddock skinless and was nice and meaty.
Kingfisher was recommended to me by Peter a bus driver friend who's a regular at Kingfisher and our usual fish shop has changed hands and isn't as good any more.
We ordered at Kingfisher on Christmas Eve and had a terrific supper with lovely big chips and delicious pieces of fish along with a nice salad.
We'll be ordering again sometime soon

Once when al the other chip shops closed at 10pm....i hunted for a chip shop and found this gem.
I rang and the nice older lady was kind enough to take an order over the phone so it was ready when i arrived. So nice.

Lovely chips for my daughter and I whilst on a trip to trent Park. Staff went the extra mile and put cbeebies on for her to watch whilst we ate as it was a little chilly outside. Really made her day :).
My absolute favourite in the area. A family owned and run, a real diamond tucked right next to Oakwood Station. Nice people, polite and kind. Fresh fish, well cooked, crispy, high quality, the good old British fish and chips at its very best along with a very good service. They also have glouten free. A must try is their home made coleslaw. Never disappoints...
