Amazing little Afghan restaurant.
When I arrived I was saddened to hear they are closing on the 12th Aug and have not yet found a new premises. It felt very serendipitous to visit them just before this. I’ll be keeping an eye out for when they reopen.
So because of the impending closure the menu was more limited however they still had Kabuli Pulao (Lamb shank & rice) and Aushak (Leek dumpling) which is what I had in mind to order anyhow.
They also brought out complementary Aush soup, bread & salad.
To say the portions was super generous is an understatement, but I had exercised a lot beforehand climbing so was able to eat it all.
All of the food was really delicious, some of the best Afghan food I’ve had.
The Doogh drink I ordered was also nicely tart and cooling.
The chef was friendly and welcoming, it really felt like being cooked for in someone’s own home.
Quick note if you plan to visit give them a quick call to check opening times as they were opened at 1:30pm but it was listed as 12:00.
I hope they reopen in a new venue soon, I will gladly visit again as it’s the chefs magic that makes this place special.
Found this place on Google, as was looking for a Afghan restaurant in North west London. When we got there it was quiet, a family run business. Nothing fancy to look at, but the food certainly makes up for it. Got a set. Menu for 4-5 people for £49. Lots of food and very filling, would definitely recommend.
This is substance over style, not one of those Instagram places that are over priced with average food.
Tried the Kabuli Uzbeki pulao, the rice was fluffy and didn't stick to each other, lamb shank just fell off the bone, very soft and delicious. Lamb Biriyani was good, could have done with a bit more spice, definitely going back and would highly recommend this place. Very nice staff.
A no frills, family run Afghan restaurant. Good value food served fresh with friendly service.
Freshly cooked food. Never disappointed after long journey from Milton Keynes. Highly recommended.
Went here today roughly around half 1 ish I believe;3. Maybe later than that, sorry I'm the girl with the massive sunglasses- just want you to remember me so you understand my appreciation for your services.
The lovely man gave me dhaal to put on my Kabul pilau, that mantu was definitely not just a 1 portion; he gave me clearly a very large portion which was extremely kind as well as extra soup and afghan naan pieces and even salad on the side.
May God bless you. Made my absolute day. I now finally have a favourite Afghan spot.

My compliments to the chef. Had a great evening out with my fiancé and my best friend. We discovered the place because we are going to move in the area so we needed a place to eat after signing the contract. Will definitely return for the great dishes, every single one cooked with care, respect, skill and talent. Trust in the advice you receive. For us it was definitely worthy it.

I would definitely recommend that, this restaurant has the best food ever. I grew up with Mediterranean food, but I have never seen or heard or had any food like this before. Absolutely delicious and very good price, very nice and polite people. Extremely satisfying restaurant. 👌👍

Initial impression upon entry to the restaurant at 8:45pm on a Thursday night was rather negative. We ordered a special set menu for 2-3 people and we were 2 adults and a 12y old and a 2y old.
The food took about 40 mins to start arriving and then the table got quickly filled up so many unexpected dishes from Maicha Qabuli Pilao with lamb shank, a plate of maantoo, 3 soups, a platter of mixed BBQ grill (lamb cubes, chicken cubes, chello lamb and even fish).
We sure were very hungry by this time and were quickly impressed with the quality of the food.
The kebabs were well seasoned and moist. The Qabuli Pilao was I'd say 3/5 - because it was a little under seasoned, but the lamb shank was a generous portion and so was the rice.
We ate to our full and it's definitely a place to go for a regular meal but not a place your take someone for a gastronomic adventure as the peaks and troughs of the flavour spectrum are rather uniform.
I'm giving it a 4 star because the owners really do try hard, and the food is very very good value for money.
Improvements: focus on bringing out the distinct flavours of each dish.
Best Afghan food in UK I have tasted yet. Best people, felt like being at home. Would always buy and recommend. Best price and best quality as well as insane quantity along with unbelievable free ad ons. If you just buy the 12 pound kabuli pulao. It ll be enough for 3 average people.
Been waiting some time during lockdown for Zeenat to re-open and was not disappointed. Wonderful food cooked to order, extremely generous portions and served in a friendly family atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant as it is such good food and exceptional value for money. A great dining experience.
This is my first experience of Afghani food and it was tasty! This seems to be a family run restaurant, with an authentic taste. The lamb dopiaza was well flavoured and the most succulent, falling-apart lamb.
Very much delicious food, service is great. Family business, very friendly environment and very humble people. Food is very fresh home-made and beautiful presentation
One of the best Lamb chops Kebab I've ever had. So delicious and tender to bite, absolutely heavenly. Highly recommended.
What a perfect find, incredible food welcoming atmosphere and the best chicken kebab ever.
All the food was cooked to perfection, fresh and the taste was like being back in Afghanistan.

The Authentic Afghan cuisine. If you order for parties I recommend the place you will receive the delivery on time and the amount of food more then you order. Clean and friendly environment. Nice customer service.
