By far the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. The batter is crispy and not greasy, the fish is fresh and flaky, and the chips are fluffy and not at all soggy. As you can see from the picture, the portion is also enormous. Mushy peas were decent too. Will definitely be trying again.
Overall 4*s for this place. Price is quite high for large cod (£8.40 without chips) so if you're looking to get fish and chips for two it's going to cost you around £20. One of the best in the area. We don't go anywhere else. The fish is brought in fresh, not frozen, so the quality is amazing. Everything is always freshly cooked and the quality is consistent. Has amazing home made fish cakes too. Try this place out and you won't regret it.
Very nice crunchy yet fluffy chips. Good sized portions and happy helpful staff. I will be going there again next time I am near I will certainly be going back.
