I usually order 'baby chicken' with Turkish rice or Gourmet Beef Burger from this place. The Chicken takes a while to make but is probably one of the best grilled chicken I had and the Burger is grilled perfectly and is full of flavour!
Also the waiters look very unprofessional lol

Cheap pocket friendly place to grab some Turkish food at a nice east London location.The food is ok according to the price and the staff is friendly. This place operates the policy of no card payment for bills below £10.
Very good food just a long waiting time apart from that staff were very kind offered us refills and the food we got which was baby chicken steak burger and chips as well as the turkish chicken😍
The food was served quite quick, was nice and hot, the chicken Shish was good and the chilli sauce made it better, it burnt my mouth lol but it gave the extra taste to it, I loved it.
Amazing! Came with my family last weekend and left very satisfied and already planning to come back again very soon. Of all the Turkish i have been too, Shish is definately a Turkish with a Fusion that makes it that extra special. Nadera (comment from below) sounds like the person unfortunately we were dining next too. She came in with a bad attitude and was not pleasant or respectful to the members of staff from the beginning. Overall - well great portion sizes for lunch time menu. Well worth your monies. You get more than what you pay for. Off the lunch menu - Seabass was extremely tasty and the chefs cater to how you want it. We had chops and rice for take away and the chops were clean meat! My friend and I go here every month for our catch up and always order the same thing - Lamb Chops and Ribs and Lamb Ribs. The meat is always cooked to our liking. I have yet to try other dishes, but I would recommend this quaint restaurant to friends, family and strangers.
Went Shish for iftar during Ramadan, half chicken meal was great but food served early wrapped in cling film which is a downer. Otherwise full house and good food.
I regularly get the half chicken meal and in all honestly the best grilled chicken in town!
Surprisingly the prices are actually very good and I hope they keep the prices same!

I ordered the chicken shish & adana kebab main which comes with rice salad and bread.
The Adana kebab was bursting with flavour and lovely lamb juices.
Nice addition with the grilled tomato and chilli.
The portion size looked a bit light at first glance but the meal combo did fill the appetite in the end.

The food is delicious and very spacious. Try the half chicken with rice/fries. They are the best. Staffs can be little more friendly. The best part of the turkish food is the starter they always give it for free (Naan- Bread, Salad and chilli dip) to be honest that is way better than the actual ordered food. They have large seating area in the underground-but no access to wheelchair. Party size can be pre-booked.
They only accept cash (at the time of review) so prepare to have cash to avoid disappointment.
This is a lovely local place with decent pricing. As it is Asian owned you can get items a lot spicier than a typical Turkish menu which is great if you like it spicy and hot! I do!

Went here with my 3 kids, food was lovely. Place is located just off the main road with off street parking. Seating area is in basement, lots of seating can accommodate groups of 12 easily. Service was just good. Many is your typical Turkish menu but the food is a little different with a touch of many spices. I'd say food is Indian mixed with Turkish. Place is run by Asian hence the type of food as I described. The buguers was one of the best iv had in a while. Cooked well with teal soft succulent taste. Deff recommend this place. Price no different to any other Turkish place.
Very nice food and friendly staff. They gave me a complimentary tea because they thought I was tired 😁 The food is very good quality and well priced. I got lamb ribs with rice, salad and bread for under £10. The seating is downstairs in the basement, no frills and it was a bit cold due to the front always being open but still a really great place for a tasty plate of food!

Haven’t been here for a long time. Must say the food did not disappoint was really good with the meat being very tender. The portion was very generous for two people.
Also had the masala tea which was very nice will definitely be coming back her soon.
